Cougars under 8s Tournament Preliminary round, 19 April, 2008

The Cougars Under 8s Whites and Blues teams took part in the preliminary round of the Royston Crow League tournament, which resulted in both teams going through to the next round.

With one team not turning up, The Whites had only one game to play against Pin Green, which they won, convincingly 5 - 1. Luke Garrett scored an amazing 4 goals with Jordan Moore also finding the back of the net.

The Blues also won both their matches with Reece Knapp the goalkeeper maintaining a clean sheet.

Their first game against St Neots was a 5 – 0 victory with Simon Keogh scoring a hat trick and goals from Daniel Curtis and James Savage.

The second game against Stevenage was a 3 – 0 victory to Cougars with Simon Keogh again finding the back of the net from a great corner from Frank Bown, and James Savage scored a further two goals.

The team work and spirit was great
