Pictures March 10 - March 16
Hi! Mate this is Brighton Boy from Hove. The human has cleared off again to
go and see the feline prima donna in London! I see you are taking it easy,
lots of sleep, that's the way, old boy! Hey! I am sending 2 photos of
myself (before and after the tail removal!) Actually, when the human tries
to take photos of me in my new "abridged" version I always tricked her as I
hide it! (What's left of my beautiful tail so sometime they have to have
recourse to "retouched" photos). I do get nostalgic about my tail (It was a
long and pretty tail, never mind, less grooming to do!). They like to film me
a lot (You know, camcorder etc..) and they insist on filming me from the
back!). No sensibility at all, what about my pride!
Anyway, I am still rooting for you! so is Hove! Go get them! Brighton Boy
and the human Beatrice (I would assume!)
Hi again Frank,
Here are some very sincere get-well wishes for you (see that look)

Hi Frank,
Hope you're feeling well today. I'm just borrowing my mummy's computer so that I can send you a photo of myself - I'm relaxing after a hard day's mousing.
Oh-oh, she's coming back now, she'll be cross if she catches me with the computer, she keeps trying to tell me that this mouse is not for chasing - but I don't believe her. I know, I'll roll over onto my back, she usually thinks that's cute, then maybe she won't notice what I've been up to.

Dear Frank,
I know what it's like to be poorly . . . so I thought I'd send you a picture of a rather aristocatic floosy (Well actually, it's me, Flossie the British
Blue) to cheer you up.
Dream on, honey! Warm chicken is just around the corner.
Flossie.
Being from Cambridge, Massachusetts I tend to notice news from
Cambridge UK. I was touched by the response to your cat. Creampuff the cat send her regards. Also Elizabeth the English
Springer who loves cats and seems to think that Creampuff is her
baby and does not understand why cats she sees on the street say
bad things when she approaches. Perhaps Elizabeth thinks that she
is a cat.
hope frank recovers well and likes the piccie!

Hi, jmorgan from pistonheads. Tigger is on the right, he seems to work
well. The big bugger on the left is Chim, stone in weight and not fat,
scares the local postman (not). 4 cats in total, and wish Frank the
best. Been there and he pulled through. At one point we took pictures
thinking it was the last we would see of him, heartbreaking.

Get well soon, Frank, from your ex-pat friend Freddy who emigrated to the US 18 months ago. It's great here, but very hot at times (95 degrees last summer).
Thinking of you mate, you've been through the mill, haven't you. But you've made lots of new friends, which is nice.
Here's a picture of me showing me lording it on my mum's bed in America. Not bad, eh? If you look at it closely, you can see I'm thinking about you and sending get well vibes.

hey frank!!
this is mugsy from the u.s. i was homeless once, living in a park near a very busy intersection and nearly got hit a few times. really sorry about the accident. i'm glad you have some people to help you get well. i'm living in a swell house with the nice peeps who picked me up out of the park. i'm sending a pic of me in a tree in new mexico (a big one and a small one). hope you're climbing trees soon! (and hopefully better than i can; i'm a bit clumsy and i have fallen out of the tree a coupla times, thankfully no
damage.)

Here's my computer wallpaper of Louielou, my 15-year-old tabby from Seattle WA. He's going to live to be twenty something I'm sure. His nicknames include doobdoob, scooberkins, scoobydoo, and purrface, among others. He really feels badly for Frank and hopes Frank is feeling much better. Love, Bronny and Goobers
Coco the carioca cat is anxious knowing that Frank got into such a scrape. She'll be all smiles when you're better again and your wonky leaps can get you back in all the great high spots. Looks like you'll have to learn how to balance a pretty swollen head, apart from everything else!
From Sue, Frank (the human) and Coco (the cat)
I hope all is going well with Frank's recovery. I have enclosed two pics of My cats Sam(black & white) and Dill(all black). Two male domestic short hairs who are best buds. Sam is one year and Dill is nine months.

Hi Frank,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I know what it's like mate, I've had some ups and downs in my time too ..... Y'know the usual thing, cars, foxes, dogs .... but as you can see I have come out on top, and nothing has managed to spoil my good looks.
It's hard to believe at one time I looked like 'Freddy Frankenstien' .... had my neck shaved, big stitches, tubes, the works- following a little altercation with a fox ....... but I can raise my paws in air now ...
You look/sound like a fighter too, so maybe when all's well, you might fancy a boys night out .... just let me know and I'll show you the town.
Your old mucker ..... Freddy
See me here .......

Hi, my name is Steve Cox. At the moment my Cat Minx is going through the wars as well and wants me to send her best wishes to Frank, I enclose a picture of Minx, as you can see her tail is in a bad state and we think that this is because some nasty human kicked her. She will be fine by next monday when the collar comes off and she can have a wash. She has taken it off for five minutes in this picture so she can eat a big plate of Tuna fish!
Good luck Frank!

I hope that the attached pic will cheer you up a little. It is from my Mum's wall calendar. That is not her, though she is blonde. That is not me either; I don't have a white tip to my tail and I never wear a collar.

I know how you feel. I was knocked down mid January and I am still being
kept indoors although yesterday I was electronically tagged and my owner has

posted notices for my owner. They then used the local papers to get in touch
with the kind people.
I hope you continue to get well I will keep visiting.

Hello Frank & owners,
We were sorry to hear about your accident and are glad to hear you are well on the road to recovery. Our cat Jeremy also had his pelvis broken in a car accident. He is a British Blue and was only 2 years old when it happened. As with many of those that are well-bred, our Jeremy is very handsome but not very endowed in the brains department. One of his favourite hobbies is sitting on the gray asphalt road at night even though he is all over gray himself. So it didn't take too long before he got hit by a car. He managed to get himself back to the house and even inside the cat door, poor guy - must have been very painful. Jerry, as he is known to his friends, also had to live in a cage at the vets. He didn't mind this too much as he had people around to watch and talk to. But when he came home we only had a big cardboard box for him to live in. Tantrums - he threw them! Late one night I was woken by Jeremy breaking out of the box, despite his injuries he was determined to get out. After he ruined the box we let him stay in one room and then he was quite happy. So I can quite understand Frank trying to get out. At least it shows he is feeling better. Our Jeremy is all healed now and back to enjoying life in his happy way. He has sent his picture for you to show Frank how good life will be again soon. We will keep watching for his progress. Great site and lovely idea.
Kind regards, best wishes
Mandy, Ken and Jeremy

Hello Frank, here's a movie of me actually moving which is more than you can manage at the moment. I've been sick recently and had to have my eye stitched up. I also have trouble walking because I've got luxating patellas or dodgy kneecaps to you. I had to go to the Royal Vetineray College to see Professor Church. Not only that, when I was a tiny kitten they nearly put me down - I got so weak and could only just lift my head up. The Prof said I'd probably got an underactive thyroid and they put me on drugs to save me. I'm a Devon Rex Black Smoke and I'm nine months old. I hope you can move soon, Paris (See attached file: parismovie.mov)
Get well soon, Frank! Maybe someday I'll be the star of my own webcam - hopefully without the hospital stay, though. :-)

For he is the servant of the Living God duly and daily serving him. For at the first glance of the glory of God in the East he worships in his way. For this is done by wreathing his body seven times round with elegant quickness. For then he leaps up to catch the musk, which is the blessing of God upon his prayer. For he rolls upon prank to work it in. For having done duty and received blessing he begins to consider himself. For this he performs in ten degrees. For first he looks upon his forepaws to see if they are clean. For secondly he kicks up behind to clear away there. For thirdly he works it upon stretch with the forepaws extended. For fourthly he sharpens his paws by wood. For fifthly he washes himself. For sixthly he rolls upon wash. For seventhly he fleas himself, that he may not be interrupted upon the beat. For eighthly he rubs himself against a post. For ninthly he looks up for his instructions. For tenthly he goes in quest of food. For having consider'd God and himself he will consider his neighbour. For if he meets another cat he will kiss her in kindness. For when he takes his prey he plays with it to give it a chance. For one mouse in seven escapes by his dallying. For when his day's work is done his business more properly begins. For he keeps the Lord's watch in the night against the adversary. For he counteracts the powers of darkness by his electrical skin and glaring eyes. For he counteracts the Devil, who is death, by brisking about the life. For in his morning orisons he loves the sun and the sun loves him. For he is of the tribe of Tiger. For the Cherub Cat is a term of the Angel Tiger. For he has the subtlety and hissing of a serpent, which in goodness he suppresses. For he will not do destruction, if he is well-fed, neither will he spit without provocation. For he purrs in thankfulness, when God tells him he's a good Cat. For he is an instrument for the children to learn benevolence upon. For every house is incomplete without him and a blessing is lacking in the spirit. For the Lord commanded Moses concerning the cats at the departure of the Children of Israel from Egypt. For every family had one cat at least in the bag. For the English Cats are the best in Europe. For he is the cleanest in the use of his forepaws of any quadruped. For the dexterity of his defence is an instance of the love of God to him exceedingly. For he is the quickest to his mark of any creature. For he is tenacious of his point. For he is a mixture of gravity and waggery. For he knows that God is his Saviour. For there is nothing sweeter than his peace when at rest. For there is nothing brisker than his life when in motion. For he is of the Lord's poor and so indeed is he called by benevolence perpetually-- Poor Jeoffry! poor Jeoffry! the rat has bit thy throat. For I bless the name of the Lord Jesus that Jeoffry is better. For the divine spirit comes about his body to sustain it in complete cat. For his tongue is exceeding pure so that it has in purity what it wants in music. For he is docile and can learn certain things. For he can set up with gravity which is patience upon approbation. For he can fetch and carry, which is patience in employment. For he can jump over a stick which is patience upon proof positive. For he can spraggle upon waggle at the word of command. For he can jump from an eminence into his master's bosom. For he can catch the cork and toss it again. For he is hated by the hypocrite and miser. For the former is afraid of detection. For the latter refuses the charge. For he camels his back to bear the first notion of business. For he is good to think on, if a man would express himself neatly. For he made a great figure in Egypt for his signal services. For he killed the Ichneumon-rat very pernicious by land. For his ears are so acute that they sting again. For from this proceeds the passing quickness of his attention. For by stroking of him I have found out electricity. For I perceived God's light about him both wax and fire. For the Electrical fire is the spiritual substance, which God sends from heaven to sustain the bodies both of man and beast. For God has blessed him in the variety of his movements. For, tho he cannot fly, he is an excellent clamberer. For his motions upon the face of the earth are more than any other quadruped. For he can tread to all the measures upon the music. For he can swim for life. For he can creep.

Hi Frank:
I don't know who is luckier, you or your owners! My cat is a Frank, too. Here are a couple photos of him doing what he does best -- a back view and a belly view. The other cat is Birdy who looks like she's eaten Frank's head off. I know she feels like it some times. He's a bit of a bed hog.
Take care, little cat.

Dear Frank!!
Get well soon.
My name is Fraidy Cat, and this here's my brother Freddy (he's kinda yellow, I'm the smooth black and white one). Old MS. Mangy Kitty's around here somewhere and she is soooooo mean!
We were both orphans and these pretty neat but kinda odd two legged creatures helped us get better. Then they brought home Sweet Pea, Cassie and Little Guy, more orphans. They don't seem to like raw fish or meat much, but Cassie does like my dry cat food.
We herd them around alot and they are kind of a pain when we take em on walks cause they can't cross cattle guards, but those two legged friends get them out when that happens. Plus they have these weird things growing out of their heads, I've heard the two legged ones say they are horns......
We live in Nevis in the West Indies and hope these pictures brighten up your day.
Love,
FC
