Hi Frank! I sure hope you're healing ok and will be up and around very soon. PLEASE, PLEASE beg your "parents" to keep you indoors exclusively. You don't ever need to go outside! There are terrible things that can happen when you roam unsupervised! You were lucky this time, but the next time, you may not make it. There are so many dangers for kitties outside, cars, terrible dogs, mean people, diseases, poisons meant for rats and mice, so many dangers! PLEASE, PLEASE stay SAFE inside. You're a young fellow, we want you to live a long, long life and kitties indoors live to an average age of 15 years (and beyond!) while kitties allowed outdoors live to an average age of only 4-6!! Hi Frank!! I'm a 6 year old cat from Norway, and I know what you're going through. Three years ago I was run over by a pick-up truck and I broke my pelvis on four places. My mother nursed me for 3 weeks, she gave me my favourite youghurt with a spoon and gave med water with a tube. I'm now fully recovered as I'm sure you will be too. Hang in there pal, it won't be long before you run around chasing mice again. Youghurt? I don;t have that, where is my assistant...

Ooops, I forgot to tell you that I read about you on the internet on www.vg.no (that's a Norwegian newspaper). hello frank I see you are at the vets. I hope you have a good report from them. I am thinking of you. God bless your owners. It is good to know you are in safe hands. I wish I could come to visit you but I dont like traveling. When I see my cat carrier I run a mile. My mum gets very stressed trying to put me in it. That only makes me worse because I am very good at picking up on her behaviour. When dad is at home I behave differently. Dad trusts me a bit more when I go out but mum treats me like a little kid. She is always calling me in. Sometines 10 times a day. If there any vans aroung the close she calls me in coz she says she worries that I will be curious and jump in and get driven off somewhere. She is a real worry guts. We have a school near us and when the mothers come to pick up their children I get called in in case I might get run over. We are lucky to live in a cul de sac which is quite quiet so I really dont know why she fusses so. She is going out now so I guess I will have to come in. Mum wont let me stay out when she or dad are not here. She says its because she worries about me. (She has no human kids) Sometimes she is a real nuisence but I always get a treat. Took this picture of OZ when he came home from the vet. His urinary tract kept getting blokced, and the vet had to remove his "equipment" to prevent the problem from happening again. I took the pic and then used it as a texture in Lightwave to create the image. Oz and I hope Frank is doing better real soon. -Tony

Hi Frank- hope you're feeling relaxed now after your visit to the vet. a question for you - which sort of cat litter do you like best? When we HAVE to be kept indoorsfor any reason we will only use the Fullers Earth type as it makes the most dust and mess for Pauline to clear up, also the heaviest sack for Keith the man-human to carry through the house. Last time she bought that designer pellet type one of us "went" on the sofa - but we wont say which one of us it was. We're still wishing you better. Charlie, Spider and Tabs XXXXXX. I have the nice woody litter that fluffs up and make a complete mess of the cage. Why the best team of course, the light blues...

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this before but you might ask if you could watch a few videos. According to a story on the BBC website it might help. Anyway, get well soon, then you can enjoy your status as a cat-ebrity. I've asked for a DVD, I don't think I'll get one though..tightwads..

Hi Frank!! Glad to see you are mending well. Please....tell your daddy to keep you inside and build an outdoor enclosure instead of letting you roam outdoors. This way you will remain safe from all the dangers us cats face out there.....and there are a LOT besides cars out there that can hurt you. Our meowmie and daddy keep us 6 inside ALL the time, except we get to go into the enclosure anytime we want through a pet door. It's the perfect solution. We are all happy and content, and will live LONG, and safe lives. It's really great not to have to fear getting run over or hurt by a dog or a mean human. So get well real soon, and write us anytime! We are your pal cats from the USA. Thanks American cat friends, I don't think a run is an option and I'd feel pretty silly using it, but it we'll talk about it

Hello Frank, I thought you might like to read the following joke...it might make those long days in the cage go quicker...
HOW TO GIVE A CAT A PILL
1) Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger & thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow.
2) Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat inleft arm and repeat process.
3) Retrieve cat from bedroom, throw soggy pill away.
4) Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm holding rear paws tightly with left hand. Force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right forefinger. Hold mouth shut for a count of ten.
5) Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe. Call spouse from yard.
6) Kneel on floor with cat wedged firmly between knees, hold front and rear paws. Ignore low growls emitted by cat. Get spouse to hold head firmly with one hand while forcing wooden ruler into mouth. Drop pill down ruler and rub cat's throat vigorously.
7) Retrieve cat from curtain rail, get another pill from foil wrap. Make note to buy new ruler and repair curtains. Carefully sweep shattered figurines and vases from hearth and set to one side for gluing later.
8) Wrap cat in large towel and get spouse to lie on cat with head just visible from below armpit. Put pill in end of drinking straw, force mouth open with pencil and blow down drinking straw.
9) Check label to make sure pill not harmful to humans, drink 1 beer to take taste away. Apply Band-Aid to spouse's forearm and remove blood from carpet with cold water and soap.
10) Retrieve cat from neighbor's shed. Get another pill. Open another beer. Place cat in cupboard and close door onto neck to leave head showing. Force mouth open with desert spoon. Flick pill down throat with rubber band.
11) Fetch screwdriver from garage and put cupboard door back on hinges. Drink beer. Fetch bottle of scotch. Pour shot, drink. Apply cold compress to cheek and check records for date of last tetanus shot. Apply whiskey compress to cheek to disinfect. Toss back another shot. Throw tee shirt away and fetch new one from bedroom.
12) Call fire department to retrieve the friggin' cat from tree across the road. Apologize to neighbor who crashed into fence while swerving to avoid cat. Take last pill from foil-wrap.
13) Tie the little x&*@#''s front paws to rear paws with twine and bind tightly to leg of dining room table, find heavy duty pruning gloves from shed. Push pill into mouth followed by large piece of steak. Be rough about it! Hold head vertically and pour 2 pints of water down throat to wash pill down.
14) Consume remainder of Scotch. Get spouse to drive you to the emergency room, sit quietly while doctor stitches fingers and forearm and removes pill remnants from right eye. Call furniture shop on way home to order new table.
15) Arrange for Humane Society to collect mutant cat from hell and call local pet shop to see if they have any hamsters.
HOW TO GIVE A DOG A PILL:
1) Wrap it in bacon.

My owners help me turn on the webcam so that I can see what you're doing. It's funny to see you move, and I have to touch the screen with my paw, just to see if it can make you move even more. I also go behind the computer screen to see if you're hiding in the back, but so far I have been unable to locate you... I can't really work out where you are! Hello Frank, Seeing you in your cage reminded me of Sally's brother Harry who is no longer with us. He was run over and broke his thighbone. Like you he was given a big cage he had to stay in. And he cried and was unhappy and trashed his cage. So, what we did was took him outside on a lead so he could hobble slowly around the garden and sniff things and get fresh air and keep his scent fresh in his territory. He loved being taken out for little walks two or three times a day, and didn't mind the lead at all. So drop a hint to your owners, who clearly love you to pieces. They might have to ask the vet person if it's ok but if it is i know you'll enjoy having a nice walk. Anyway, here's to a speedy recovery, Frank! Yes they have mentioned this to me and I must say I'M HORRIFIED!, still I'll give it a go. Cat bondage whatever next ?

Everybody we all look at Frank everyday if we all donate a dollar or a German mark or what ever your currency is we could help with the bill.That is what we all want for Frank to get better. Well Frank I am rooting for you. I like cats but work long shifts so can't really have one at present, but looking to see how you are doing is a nice idea.
