Happy Easter, Frank, you look good today, Purrrr from Pojken
Frank,
I see your furry back but never see your handsome face. Are you shy? Look at the cam sometime!
Cheers, Dylan
Good morning, Frank!
Hello from Evansville, Indiana, USA! We're glad to see you're improving and should be top notch shortly. I (Jake) had a visit to my vet myself last Friday and was put on a course of prednisone for a persistent cough-- Dr. Jill thinks it's allergies. I'm feeling more chipper every day, too! I never leave the house, but my brother Fellini likes to bolt every now and again (which isn't a good idea, since he's black) and causes John (master of the domain) much consternation. Fortunately, he doesn't run far from the house, which is fine since we live on a busy street. Well, gotta run now; in there and we'll be checking in on you daily!
Hej Frank!

We hope you get well soon. There is nothing worse than being confined to a cage for any amount of time.
Keep purring!

Oh Frank, I just looked at your latest picture --22:29:10. A full face shot and you just look so alert and beautiful. Good looks just run in our family tree.

Frank, what will we ever do when you are completely recovered and not confined to your cage anymore ?!?!
We so enjoy your company !
Best wishes from your friends in Vermont, USA.
Frank, my dear, I just might have to join that Yahoo! group of yours! You get so many messages here that I can't keep up with them any more. So, Korky is apparently an Irish cat, not from Hove after all? Well, that's OK, he's a cool cat wherever he's from. You have a good weekend, and I'll look in again next week. Kisses from Carol, headbutts from Misha and Tabby, and earlicks from Sparky and Oliver.
Dear Frank
This is a get well message from one cat with Attitude to another cat with Attitude.

picture with it. So here is another one. I'm so glad I got to see you awake
on the webcam this time. This is me with my kitty, Niedermayer (he's named
after hockey player Rob Niedermayer). We call him Nieder for short. He has
the sniffles right now, so he knows what it is like to be under the
weather. Nieder says meow which I believe is cat for "get well"-Amy & Nieder

hi frank i really hope you get well soon. lots of luv lydia xx
eejkes Frank,
liefs, Junesse
Hi Frank. I don't think you are able to understand Dutch, so I thought: I might as wel try to translate all the stuff I've written down. Here I go... I didn't know you at first. But my mum told me I could find you here. See, like many other working people, my mum is able to go on the internet while working. I think she found out about you while stroling on the internet. Kind of funny :) So she told me all about you, the famous cat who's recovering on the internet, which you can go and see every time you want. So since then, that's the thing I do. Every day, I come up here to check on you. Around three times a day I come and watch you. Most of the times I check you early in the morning, but then you're once again asleep. You sleep a lot, don't you?! But hey, which cat doesn't?! Where I live (over here in Belgium) we have two cats. One of them is called Ramses and the other one is called Sproetje (translated: freckles) Ramses is the cat we found when he was pretty small. I got Sproetje for my last birthday. She came out of an pound. I think it's fair to give these animals a new chance for living. They deserve a good, happy, and cosy life. But that's just what I believe.
For so far my little text.
Lots of love and kisses from me,
Junesse (17, Antwerp - Belgium)

Hello Frankie,
Gald to see you're looking much better.
It's nice to see more of your handsome face, now that you aren't asleep all the time! We love your new blanket!
DEAR FRANCK!!
HELLO FROM ZAGREB - CROATIA!!!
Hi Frank
I've been visiting you nearly every day and don't often see you awake, but you are today so well done! Love the knitwear by the way - you could get a job as a wacky archeologist on 'Timeteam' when you're up and about again!
I've just caught up with your hundreds of messages, and I was amazed to spot an old friend (first message 21/3/02). Juan Franco indeed! Do 'Gran and Granddad' not know a pretty girl when they see one? She's been living at Parque don Jose for years, along with other very friendly 'ferals' who don't actually belong to anybody but do very well all the same due to lots of besotted cat-lovers taking their holidays there. I suppose it helps that Tenerife is warm all year round so they don't starve in the off-season like other holiday-spot cats. And there are cat-lovers working there, too. All the cats must have hundreds of names as everyone calls them something different. We call the pretty grey and white girl 'Gracie', for obvious reasons - she's grey and graceful. So, Frank, if you feel a bit arthritic after your accident, you know where to go to ease your aching bones. The weather's fantastic and the scenery (for a hot-blooded male like you) is equally pleasing. Just one word of warning - that 'lopped' ear of Gracie's is no accident. When ferals are rounded up and neutered (you remember that word, I'm sure), the vet takes a notch out of one ear to make sure that cat doesn't get rounded up again. It might sound a bit savage but it saves the cat the pain and indignity of having some vet rummage around looking for bits which aren't there.
I'm sending you a photo of Gracie... how could a rough tough tom have a pretty face like that?
Julie and Pip and cats Tommy, Zippy, Emma, Mojo, Tikka and Tango
Hi Frank
Julie and Pip again...
this is Gracie stealing our car keys.
... and this is Charlie, the top cat at Parque don Jose. He's the only one who only has one name. He's been there so long that everyone knows him. We've been going there since 1988 and he's been there all that time. He's getting on a bit now so I just hope he's still around. When we first met him a local bar owner told us that his curly tail was the result of getting it trapped in a sliding patio door. Not true... lots of Tenerife cats have curly tails. It's one of those genetic oddities, but it's obviously uncomfortable because Charlie hates to have his tail touched. He's very friendly all the same and he's shared many a tin of tuna with us.
I hope the vet lets you out of your cage soon, but don't go running about like a mad thing before you're ready. We all want you to get better so don't overdo it. What you need is a holiday to recuperate. I can recommend a great place for cats in Tenerife. Don't think you'd enjoy the flight much, though...
hi Frank ,
You look much better now !!!
Happy Easter ! don't eat too much chocolate
xxCC&DDXX
Frank,
I am going to miss seeing you every day once you are free of the cage. I am glad you are doing so well. I am a cat lover (have 3 that live with me). Stay out of the street!
Julie
hi frank,
i hope u get well soon and by the way i think ur really really cute.plz plz get well soon! lots of love alexandra xxx
Hi Frank, It's me, Nesta.
I just checked in (my human held me up to look at your picture) and you look just fine. When I see you sitting in your cage looking regal, I just get embarrassed that I've been fighting with my human to let me out. She keeps saying "no!, the coyotes have come down from the foothills, you can't go out." Now, I will think of you as you are an inspiration for patience. Love, Nesta
Hi Frank!
This is Sheila from Michigan (in the USA) sending you a BIG hello! I check in on you daily to see how you are doing and hope you get a clean bill of health soon from your kitty doctor. It is so wonderful to see you keep improving each day.
I just have to say you are a such a cutie and would be a perfect match for my pretty kitty, Chloe. I also think you are very blessed to have the best medical care as well as at home care from your owners who obviously love you so much.
Take care and lots of love to you (and kitty kisses from Chloe!)
Hiya Frank,
How's it going? I just wanted to drop you a line to tel you about my friend's cat, who had a similar injury as yourself, and he had to live in a cage for ages too. He was really grumpy about it (but then he's a bit highly strung, being a Siamese and all) but it was for the best and he's now out 'n' about and as active as he was before. Keep your chin up - you'll be better in no time! Best wishes, Liz x
Well Frankie babes you are looking chirpier today
must be the smell of fish as it was Good Friday :~}
Sorry to hear about your mate i'm sure he will be as right as rain soon and you will no doubt continue to rule the roost. I've had that Muesli round here in and out all morning looking for tidbits but shes well fed so all she gets is a biscuit or two \\^.^// shes to fat in any case but shes a lovely cuddle tho. have fun over easter Frank and have a treat or two . Tone
Hi Frank, great to see your pictures and that you're on the mend; take care of cars in future!
Love and best wishes,
karen, Clive and Ollie
Hi Frank,
we've just logged on to see how you are doing - looking good boy - we have been off to our holiday home for a week, it is a new one with Auntie Carolyn at the Mews - its very posh and we love it. She thinks we are still a little bit shy but we just run a card school in our house so she cant see us - Poppy keeps winning tho - its the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Sometimes we have to distract her so as she doesnt know about the casino we set up in unit no 30. She's great with the food - lots of lovely grub and nice warm beds - what else does a self respecting cat need?! Our two leggers, Penny and Roger, have been thinking about you too. We think your new blanket looks cool - we have one thats a bit like it too.
hope you are frisking it up outside of the cage soon - once out you will have lots of scratching and stomping to do - better tune in to some heavy metal to help you get into the rhythm.
Take care of yourself and keep smiling at the cameras.
Respect from the Coventry Katz - Jasper, Ziggy, Genni and Poppy
Dear Frank
I've heard so much about you that I decided to check you out. I'm Tabitha, a 12 year old lady cat, I live in a comfortable home with my owner who I can wrap around my little claw!
I feel really sorry for you stuck in that cage, how have you stood it?! If I have to stay in for a day I'm the first one to the door in the morning, you've been stuck there for so long, though from what K says not for too much longer.
I've been laid out in my back garden in the sunshine today, laying on a flower which she only planted a couple of weeks ago (tee hee!) I gave her one of my 'butter wouldn't melt' looks and got away with it.
I hope you get something nice on Sunday as a treat, I don't know what K's got, but know I'll get some of it - I always do! (see above)
Better go now, she's coming

Hi Frank - I just want to say 'get well soon'. As soon as you are allowed out in the garden again, I will let you chase me around. But you will have to be very careful, because I don't want you to hurt yourself, so we will play very gently until you are fully recovered.
Take care Frank - I will be thinking about you every day,

Dear Frank,
I am a 4 year old grey and white guy who has recently been behind bars at a pet hospital so I wanted to send you best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I thought I'd recommend the internet radio station we listen to around here, Radio Margaritaville. It can be found at HYPERLINK "http://www.radiomargaritaville.com"www.radiomargaritaville.com. I think some of those tropical tunes might be just what you need to help you kick back and relax until they can let you loose.

Hey Frank, I am writing to say what fabulous progress you have made. This website is extremely popular and I know that the 15 people I told about the site, really love watching you. You are so cute and fun to watch. I, like many other watchers, have a female cat. She is 14, which is old for a cat, and she has many health problems such as arthiritis, but she is still as frisky as a kitten. Whenever I watch you, and shes in my room, she jumps up to see you. You have another admirer.
Hiya Frank, it's Guinness, Smarty & Grommet again here. we had a bit of a fright last night when we checked on you...you weren't there!!! Got out again did we? Grommet got you a mouse as promised but the man we own took it off him & we don't know where it is now. We'll try again (well Smarty won't as she doesn't do running) Caught you washing your bottom yesterday...it's fun to do that in public isn't it? Anyway keep getting better matey but we will miss you when we can't see you everyday day like we do now.

Frank,
It is Saturday morning, 9:30 A.M. in Los Angeles, CA and I would like to watch you, BUT the third video cam is not projecting to your internet site. I miss seeing you.
Dear Frank,
I was sent news of your plight via email and decided to click on the link to see you. At the time, my feline (Waldo Q. KingCat) was sitting on my lap, not particularly interested in the goings on. Well, when your web cam shot displayed on the monitor, he was fascinated, and watched you in all your glory as the screen refreshed from time to time. He sends all good wishes for a full and comfortable recovery. Martha King Crozier, Virginia, US a
If Franky is into rock, he should listen to Rockklassiker 106,7, which is the best rock-radiostation in Stockholm, Sweden.
The address is www.rockklassiker.se
Then, after the intro, in the upper right corner there is a "lyssna live" - inscription, right under "Bästa Radio". Klick on "lyssna live" and then choose either modem or broadband connection.
BTW, I have Franky's live pictures as desctop theme, that is when he does something other than sleep with his butt in the camera.
I wonder whether he is OK with being locked into a cage all the time. He must be really bored, that poor cat. I hope he gets well soon, so that he can go round and explore the surroundings.
Regards,
Sergej

Sadly Frankie passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Friday morning after a long fight to become better. He had been so ill over the last few months and was such a brave little hero. Our hearts are broken in two at his loss, but I know that he will be watching down over you Frank willing you to get better. Maybe your owner could open another page dedicated to the memories of pets that have passed away. Anyway bye for now. Lots of big kisses and love from Juelie & John.xxxx

When our cat was ill in hospital last week she met another little cat called George. He's only a few months old and has lost his eye due to a car accident. He now lives with us and all the other creatures. So, Frank remember outside is bad. But I don't think you'll need much reminding will you?Poor Frankie. Love Michele xxxx
frank,my love.I wish I could touch you and say to you love words...I hope you will get well very soon..
hi,Frank I am cat lover.Ihave two cats in my home and I feed the others outside.I live in istanbul. I hope you will be better soon. My cats send their regards to you. With my love.
Dear Frank,
I just came home from a harrowing visit to the vet hospital too.
And I didn't even have to stay overnight. My Dad and my brother Jett and I all wish you a speedy recovery. We watch you a lot from our computer in Los Angeles, when there is nothing good on TV.
I know David must love you a lot, and you will be spoiled when you come home.
We hope you get a lot of toys and treats. Sometimes it's no fun to be hurt and to let someone take care of you. I think it is better to take care of someone else.
Here is a story I wrote about how my brother and me take care of our Dad:
MY HAPPY FAMILY
by Figaro Sugar
My name is Figaro. My little brother Jett and I are the proud children of Michael Sugar. I'm 13 years old (4th life, 13th year) and Jett is only 6 (first life). We never really talk about it, but we are both adopted. I was living at the SPCA lodge when I was adopted, and Jett was virtually snatched from the jaws of a hungry coyote. Well, that's an exaggeration, but the coyote was close enough to scare him, even though he won't admit it.
A few years years ago, Dad went on disability so he could stay home and play with us. At first it was so nice. Then we started to notice how sad he was all the time. He stayed in bed most of the time and cried a lot too. Nothing seemed to help. Daddy's vet said he should stay home because of AIDS and that it was not funny. We know that Dad is always up to date on his shots, but sometimes bad things happen anyway. Not even catnip mouse toys can help. We were worried.
On top of that, none of our uncles came over to play anymore. Dad said it was because they died. That means they moved to another place where the food is better. We both stayed with Dad all the time and took care of him and played with him.
If it wasn't for us needing to be fed every morning, he might never have gotten out of bed at all. So we tricked him. Once we got him out of bed and had breakfast, we would get him excited by racing around the house. He's not good at playing tag and he doesn't fit under the furniture, bet he's very playful anyway. After we play, we let him pet us and that always makes him so happy.
People underestimate how much work it is to make your Dad happy. Lots of cats just mind their own business. They figure as long as their bellies are full, why bother. It's a big job to take care of our Dad. But it's worth it just to look into his eyes and know he's happy again. We know he loves us as much as we love him.
When our Dad started taking these special people treats that make his HIV's behave, his vet said he could go back to work. When he started work again we missed him a lot. But the good part is he gets out of bed all by himself. He serves us our breakfast without any coaxing. We play and sleep all day long while he's away, and when he comes home we're all so happy to see each other again. Jett even jumps up off the floor and Dad catches him in midair. Best of all, we still cuddle up together in bed every night and none of us is scared of bad dreams anymore.
Jett and Dad and me are a very happy family, and we'll stay here together for always, even if the food is lousy.
Love,
Figaro
P.S. - The picture attached was taken by my Uncle Adam who lives in New York and sometimes he comes to visit us. I hope you like the picture. I am making my best starving orphan face.
I'm a siamese cat of 13 yrs old and feeling so good and well treated at home, I can't stop thinking of you suffering since I heard the news about u. I wish u a very sepedy recovery and a nice and cozy Easter. God bless u.

Korky, mate,
Thank goodness you are still there. I have to let you know that I am in deep trouble. After the meeting the other night, when it was unanimously decided by the lads that I should bestown myself upon Hove, I sneaked Mangy Stinky into the house and up to arty-son's bedroom. There we were, pawring over ferry timetables and mewsing over ordinance survey maps of Hove, when in walked HERSELF?! Not to be too indelicate, let's just say that the you-know-what hit the fan. She went ballistic, and Frank, I don't mind telling you that her language ill-befitted an English teacher. (To be honest, I'm not sure if it was my impending trreachery that got to her, or the fact that M.S. had given the skirting board an overcoat of spray). The upshot of it all is that she's put a lifetime barring order on Mangy Stinky, and made an appointment for me at the vet. She says that's how to put a stop to my gallop. Now I've learned a lot from your website, Frank, and I now that ain't good, but worse was to follow. She's threatening to send me back to the student son and the evil-smelling student kip from whence I came. Frank, I shudder at the prospect. I still have nightmares about those leftovers of foul concoctions they "cook", the furniture that's not worth sharpening claws on, and those grubby beds - which are usually full of students anyway. Woe is really and truly me! So, what can I do but lie low for a while and wait for the dust to settle. I know that it will be a blow for the Poshy Pussy Posse of Hove, but maybe they can still award me honorary membership - I can be Posse member in absentia until I can work out Plan B. (It's just a matter of time, really). Oh, Frank, I can see that you are almost well now so spare a thought for your poor pal, Korky
Frank says: We can do it, I'll 'borrow' the car and come and get you
*****happy easter frank*******

Happy Easter, Frank! I hope you and your humans have a lovely Easter Sunday and that you are able to get out of your cage and run around for awhile today. I also wanted to say that I am very sorry to hear about the passing of the Queen Mother Saturday. Even though I am from the United States I have always been interested in reading articles and watching television specials about the Royal Family and I know that she was very popular and well-loved in England. I just wanted to extend my sympathy to you all. Lola from Pensacola, Florida
Happy Easter My sweety :-)) too D&H also...
Hope you feeling alot better... I´ll keep my fingers cross for the Vet. next week.. Love Anja
Dear Frank,
Get well soon! We're very glad you are being taken care of so well by the humans. We wish that more of the same kind of people lived here.
Animal abuse is a kind of social problem here in Singapore and a lot of people abandon animals--especially cats--so they get injured and die, or they get picked up off the street and put down. Take care!
cute cat.....hey frank!

I had a cat called Scooter who had the same pelvic injury and he had great trouble going to the "loo" so I had to give him liquid paraffin on his food and if I didnt get it right we would be at the vet for a general anaesthetic to evacuate manually. He survived for 9 years after this accident so between us we did okay.I hope you dont get this problem but if you do make sure you do this and you should be okay. You look like a great character and I send you my love and the love of my current companion "mrs Sophie Tucker" she is asleep on the chair by the computer as I write to you. Goodnight Frank and take care,Love Liz.

Hello Frank,
I hope your recovery continues well and that in a few weeks you'll even be feeling frisky.
If you get bored with your other radio choices, you might try WXPN in Philadelphia PA. You can link to their audio stream at http://www.xpn.org. They play a wide variety of independent artists, so there will probably be something there to amuse you.
If one of your nurses would rub the underside of your chin a few times for me, that would be nice. If you can coax them into giving you a treat, better yet.

Just caught onto your site. Glad to see you have a caring human to look after you in your time of need. Hope you are recovering quickly from your dreadful accident. Its raining here today.. so I am just chilling out on my favourite chair on the verandah, just watching those dumb birds flying around in the rain. Will keep a regular check up on you now, so up and at 'em real quick! Well ,..must have another catnap now. love from Jaffa the Orange Thing. Meoooowwww1

FROM BETHIA NOBLE
Hi, Frank!
How would you like to spend some time here in Rio de Janeiro ? We´re all praying for your quick recovery. My humans have always panicked at the way us cats can cross streets... so lazily! They´re always telling cats around not to be so careless! Well, this is the way we are, pal! What do poor humans know ? I send you a special meow, and a good tongue-wash: I know how you feel, I have to be grabbed twice a day to have my medicine. All love, Isis

hi frank,
it must be really boring having to be in your cage all the time, not being able to go and see if there are any mice that need catching! never mind, if you are half the moggy i think you are you'll be saving all your energy up for "the big hunt". i can't begin to know the pain you've gone through 'cos i haven't had a fracture, just the odd abcess which hd to be burst - it was great when all the puss went all over the vet's hair (ha ha). anyway i'd better go now i can smell a new tin of tuna being opened. keep well buddy, minkey (age14)

Hi Frank,
You are looking wonderful - not long now and you will be out of your cage. I see this morning you have a rather cute yellow toy, is it new? My slave Diana was very worried over the weekend because my sister Susie did not arrive back home. She walked the streets looking and calling. When she had not returned the next day my slave did a letterbox drop in her street. Just as she was about to put a note in the letterbox opposite our house, there on the front lawn was Susie! Susie is very old now and came home absolutely soaking, so I don't think she will be allowed to roam any longer, will become an indoor cat. Take care Frank and will continue to keep watching you.
Lots of love
Janet Gokalp
Hi Frank, hope you`ve had a nice relaxing Easter and are looking forward to your liberation in the near future, but remember, take care, you`ve only got 8 lives left.CATS RULE.
Why are you still listening to the boat race on monday?? I hope they "the grown ups" havent left you all weekend as I think you need them too much for that. You seem tired this weekend I hope you are getting better as I am concerned for you. Please have a good sleep and I will look in on you tomorrow. Goodnight Frank.
Frank says: No but they were having a very busy weekend
Hi, Frank, good to see you sitting up and looking well. My humans have been out wiht their other human friends and have left me alone at home again. I`m bored witless here because there is nobody to sit on or play with. You wait until they return. Then I`ll make a real nuisance of myself. Bet I get to sleep on their bed again. I`ll wake them at dawn and yell for food - that should teach them. Anyway, Frank, keep smiling, and I hope you are well enough to see the other side of that cage soon. Bye for now, Lenny.
hello frank glad to see your getting better bet
you will be glad to be back to your normal self
again we have been away for easter
all the best katey & smokey
