Messages to Frank - 25th Mar
To Dear Frank and all the staff looking after your aftercare.
This is Lawrence from Malta. In the photo attachment you can see me demonstrating one of my disabled dogs 'Ozy' to the Year 2's at St. Edwards College Malta during Animal Awareness Day on the 14th October 2001.
Besides Ozy I have an amputee dog who is very popular in Malta. She is called Tina and you can see her in her K-9 cart in the www.sosanimalsmalta.com web site.
Then there is Mary who is also an amputee cat.
From all of us we would like to wish Frank an immediate recovery and if you would like us to link your web site with ours, we would be more than happy to do so.
Best regards,
Lawrence Magrin

Tell the people who take care of you, that they take off your bracelet. It can´t be necessary to wear that when you´re in your little cage!

Hi, my name is vida (life) and I was also very lucky to be rescued by a passer by on the street. I must have fallen from someone's apartment and got lost and injured. I couldn't walk for almost 4 months. Now I'm almost fully recovered. I hope you get well soon also! bye.
Hello Frankoid,
Hope you get better soon! Just wondering why you have to wear your collar and name tag seeing as you are confined at present? Doesn't it annoy you?
Belinda
Frank says: As we've already said.....
Dear Frank

Hi, Frank! Hope you get well soon! Kisse, Lila, Meg -two Brazilian- Siamese female cats,
As the keeper of 5 indoor kitties, and numerous outdoor kitties, I was so touched by Franks story, and the luck of finding Franks owners right away! God Bless you all!! Love, Valarie
Hi Frank
Hope you are feeling better today. What a shame you are stuck inside in your
cage, it's a lovely day and I am relaxing in the garden in the sun. I'm sure
you will soon be out and about again.
Get well soon

Dear Frank & owner
We have been logging onto your website everyday (when we should be working) monitoring your/his recovery.
Unfortunately we are unable to see anything today on right camera shot….is the dog jealous and has sabotaged the camera?
Please pass on our best wishes.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Bye from Dee & Kate & Hobbes (Kate’s cat)xx
Sabrina is below and is 12 years old...Sabastian above is 18 pounds of solid kitty, but is just sweet as pie! As you can see, cardboard boxes are their favorite place to go! Both kitties were dumped, and picked up by me. Below Sabrina is a scrapbook page of 4 of my babies...enjoy! Valarie Weigle
Yo Frank!
What have you done with your camera? Knocked askew in another dramatic escape bid? I've got two great cage bars coming down the centre of the picture and very little of you in both of them! You are a smudge in the corner! Nesbit
SWEET LITTLE FRANKIE. I READ THAT STUPID LETTER YOU GOT FROM SOME UNKNOWN PERSON (and the answer). DON´T YOU CARE - THERE ARE MANY SILLY PEOPLE ON THE EARTH. MAYBE THEY ARE JUST JEALOUS - YOU ARE FAMOUS. ALL YOU HAVE TO THINK OF IS TO BE WELL SOON AND THAT IT IS MANY, MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE THINKING OF YOU. LOVE FROM YOUR FRIEND MARITA ÅBERG, VÄSTERÅS, SWEDEN (and her cats)
Frank says: Thanks
Get well soon Frank, we are keeping our paws

Hello! Feline Klub has just sent you a greeting card from BlueMountain.com.

Hello frank i hope u get well soon and meet a nice pussy cat my next song will be dedicated to u love britney i have a single female cat who likes u her name is casper
Hi Frank! I wonder if your people are getting overwhelmed taking care of you. Yesterday (Sunday) your cameras were dark for a good part of the evening and today the heading says it's Sunday even though unfortunately it's Monday (oops they just fixed it)...and the cameras are pointed in such a way that all we can see of you are the furry tips of your ears in one camera.
We missed your "escape" on Thursday...do hope that you'll be able to exercise safely in your room soon!
Warm furry hugs and nose rubs from your feline friends in Virginia, USA, Lesley, Sylvie, Louie, and Fuzzy
Frank says: They are very busy people, and they forgot to turn the lights on..
Aw Pet! Poor little puss cat. Any escape plans, shall I bake a cake?
Get well soon,
Love from Hoover (Honourable Number One Cat)
I can hardly see you today Frank - have the cameras been moved? The pictures are obscured by something, esp. the right-hand one. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms - I rely on looking at your peaceful cute sleeping form to get me through the day at work!
Hester
Bit concerned about Frank as he's not really moved today. Did he have a hectic weekend?
Frank says: indeed, running about....
so! Korky doesn't live in Hove but might quite fancy it eh? he would have to pass the Pussy Posse tests - you Frank are exempt from these if you do fancy the bracing sea air as part of your recuperation. Ahem, Korky and any other would be Hove dwellers: 1. Can you do the Huff? 2. Are you well versed in nocturnal yowling? 3. How familiar are you with the Paw of Doom (TM) ? 4. Can you catch frogs, seagulls and spids? These and other questions can only be answered by the Hove Pussy Posse. Nice to see so many cats fans from abroad- especially sweden and Brazil! but we cannot be so friendly come may or june- there's a world cup to be had! what position do you play Frank? I am a centre forward and Buzz is good at dribbling. I think you exhibit that certain Beckhamesque style in your escape attempts! We had an idea- when you are better you will be inundated with job offers- how about being the Eastenders Cat? they have too many dogs, but never a cat- you would be purrfect! I am sure your fans can come up with the best storylines for you! let us know if you want us to set you up an interview with The East End Crew.
Respec'!
Hove Pussy Posse

Frank says: Oh yes, sign me up now (seagulls are a bit on the large side thoug) and you cannot have me withouth Korky and BB and every one. Solidarity
Hi Frank
Hope you are feeling better. Can you get your human to adjust the webcams-we can hardly see you today! Is it set on close up by mistake?
My human has been worried about me too as I have heart disease and could peg out anytime. I bet I have to take more tablets than you - 3 a day. I love eating all my food except the
bits with tablet in!
My human has another cat who lives with her parents. He is called Charlie and is now 18 which is pretty old by all accounts. He has been a bit poorly though he is better now -the elderly are prone to bladder problems. No-one knows how old I am. I was abandoned by neighbours of my human's grandfather and probably ill-treated by them as I wouldn't let anyone come within 6ft of me for 8 years and lived in the garden or in the granfather's shed. When he died my human trapped me and took me to live with her. I escaped twice and was on the run for 3 weeks each time. Now I have to live indoors because if I run off again I will die within a few days without my medicine. Still I don't mind much as I have the run of the house and have become quite
an old softy now. I have to be where she is, have a taste of what she is eating and have lots and lots of strokes. I must admit she has a lot of patience-it was ages
before I stopped being scared for long enough to let her to stroke me but now I love it. My favourite hobby is waking her up at 6am by tapping her cheek and saying hello in her ear or clawing her hair and chewing her fingers to tell her I'm hungry. I've got her twisted round my finger and so have all the other cats in the street. They
know she always has biscuits in her pockets!
When I first came here there were funny furry things in the next room called guinea pigs. My human used to bring them up to your neck of the woods for check ups and operations. It was the Cambridge Cavy Trust at Alconbury. I hate the vets although my vet, Craig Devine at Parkvets, Footscray, Sidcup, Kent is very nice really and it is a proper animal hospital so I have had lots of fancy tests done there. Well take care Frank. When you are better maybe your humans will fence off the garden so you can't get out the front to the road. Better safe than sorry. Love from Tom
( the grandparents never really gave me a name except for sometimes calling me
Tom and it was too late to change it when my human found out I am really a GIRL ! my full name now is Thomasina Mary Harriet-very grand-but I answer to Tom or Sweetheart or sometimes Nuisance!)
What are we going to watch when Frank is better and running about outside?
GET WELL SOON MATE XX
Hey there gorgeous - something seems to be wrong with your right cam. It looks like there's two big stick-like things blocking our view of your handsomeness. Did you maybe give the camera a little nudge during one of your escape attempts? Well, please tell David to fix it so we can see you.
P.S. Are your humans planning to let you roam outside again once you are all better? Because I really think it would be better if you remained an indoor kitty. You'll get used to it - it's cold and damp outside anyway. Much nicer to be inside by the fire or on top of the toasty furnace.
Hi Frank! I love watching you - it gives me a dose of "feline" during the long working day. Unfortunately I haven't got a computer at home so I don't get to see the evening bits! The webcams seem to have moved today and I can't see you very well. My first cat, Ricky, had the same accident as you and he hated his cage as well, but he went on to have lots more fun packed years hunting, jumping and keeping away from the traffic. Keep up the good work! Sue

Hi Frank
My friends have been telling me about your website so being a cat lover I had to take a peek. You are a lovely looking cat. It's nice to know that from something so terrible can come so much friendship fun and fame! Glad to hear you are on the mend, keep up the speedy recovery.

Brighton Boy from Hove here! Your best mate. Yeah! Hove is the place to be! I see Korky is prepared to emigrate here (who can blame him?) The more the merrier, remember I promised you, my mate Frankie, the mother of all welcome parties if you were to come down in Hove (I bet the humans would love to visit Hove again!). Korky the only thing that can't be promised in Hove is for you to retain all your bits! For some mysterious reason, even the stray cats here (and believe me, they are numerous!) don't seem to manage to hold on their "private bits". However the scenery is worth it here and the feline Hove posse is great!
So, Frank once again Hove is behind you!!!
Brighton Boy
LOOKING GOOD TODAY FRANK.... BUT OUR MUM SAYS WHATS HAPPENED TO CAMERA TWO! JUST A BLURRY VIEW OF THE BARS! SHE TELLS EVERYONE ABOUT YOU AND NOW LOTS OF HER FRIENDS ARE HOOKED ON YOU TOO!!!
NOT THAT WE'RE JEALOUS OF COURSE.... XXXXXXX'S AND LICKS CEEFER AND CASSIE <^..^> & <^..^>
Frank
I think you must have been at your most fed up this weekend, you had your back to the camera or were further away from it that previous weeks.
Cheer up, kid Your fans love you.

Dear David
I was horrified to read that anonymous message you received last Thursday:
"Isn't Frank sick of his cage and what a ridiculous charade this is. For goodness sake, there are sick cats all over the country, mine recently died from cancer after we tried to save him and spent nearly a thousand pounds. Wouldn't your money be better spent on helping us get a veterinary body set up to regulate the extortionate costs to ordinary people who love and want to do the best for their pets.
Shame upon you."
But I was not surprised to read several other people's comments on that message today (messages dated 22 March). What a moron that person must be. But very well done, David, for your responses. You told 'em what for and they deserved it.
Well I would like to congratulate you - and your friends who help - on a tremendous and successful venture. And if that moron can't tell how much you love Frank then he/she must be a very sad person and I feel sorry for him/her. Perhaps he/she is still grieving for his/her own lost cat, but surely that is not an excuse for such bitterness.
I imagine you must have been very upset when you read that message. I hope it helps for me to tell you that I think your website is wonderful - and obviously so do hundreds of other people. It is giving loads of people a great deal of pleasure - just to read all the lovely messages and "feel" the caring and love for Frank and writers' own pets proves that people are enjoying it. You site would not achieve so many hits a day if it wasn't popular!
I hope you haven't taken those nasty comments to heart, David.
Very best wishes to you and to Frank
Piglit
Frank says: Thanks for that, some people just don't seem to get it...
Frankie: That room your human has you in looks so depressing. Where are they keeping you mate? Keep getting better. Lots of love. xxxxxxxxxx
Frank says: Oh yess bright yellow and blue walls, nice big window to let the sunshine in. Sounds horrid. From the cameras you can see about 5% of the room Frank is in.
get well soon Frank
Frank do you know if the missing kitty posted on your site has been found by his owners?
Frank says: No we don not, last news we had was that he was still missing.
HALLO AGAIN FRANKIE - YOU SWEET LITTLE BOY. HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP - SO WILL I. SEE YOU TOMORROW, DEAR FRANKIE. HUGS FROM YOUR FRIEND MARITA, VÄSTERÅS, SWEDEN (and her cats Fläckis and Sotis)

Hi Frank,
Seeing you now (20:50-Monday 25th March) with your paw over your eyes, reminds me of our beloved Benjamin, who went to cat heaven 18 months ago....he was a good looker like you! Hope you're feelin' better......you'll soon be out of there and terrorising the neighbourhood no doubt.
Hey
Why's the site not been updated since Thursday.
How are you mate?
Write soon and let us know how you're getting on. You look really miserable today.

Hiya Buddy,
Gutted I missed you galloping about the other night, my humans went out and didn't leave the pc on! (thoughtless creatures) At least now I can send you a pressie, what sort of things you like? Treats? Toys? Mice? (although don't think it's good to send those in the post), I know.... female cat....me... Love and Catnip Bear xxx
Hi Frank, how's you today. Are you anywhere near getting out of the awful cage, you poor thing. My lady human goes to work on Mondays and I'm left all home alone so I spend much of the time, like you, asleep.
My human read the 'orrible message from someone who didn't have the nerve to put in their email address. Nasty people - I'm glad Mr Donnan let it be seen by us animals and humans.
What do your humans do when you get fed up with your food - mine keep giving me different things and I hate them all. Its a wonder I'm not a skeleton because I don't eat much - bless them for trying so hard though.
Well, must close, the humans are going to bed and its lights out
Hi Frank,
Hope you are feeling better. Every time I see you, you are cat napping!
Here's hoping you will be well enough to leave your cage soon.
Sue xx
Dear Human D
Can we find a nice friendly printer to do some Frank Merchandise to raise money for animal charities? Love Bear
Hey there Frank you are looking really well this evening. Personally I'm not too keen on the Jazz music but it seems to be doing you good.
What are we going to watch once you are all better? Maybe your owners could set up a web cam of you basking in the sunshine outside once the weather turns nice.
We're thinking about you
lots of cuddles and love

EL FRANKO!
"Dogs have owners but cats have staff."--Anon
You are sleep sleep sleeping away the British night while I nap nap nap by the tube in the midwestern American evening. My secretary Ms. Humphrey is watching (I am listening--I am quite up on the news) while she sends my message to you. You are looking better and more fit every day.
You have beautiful eyes, Franko, with eye-liner, even. And a lovely pink nose. Lucky boy! I had copper-colored eyes when I was a little one and then they turned deep blue as I got a bit older. My nose is black and is currently behind behind a paw as I snooze. The budgies, Hyacinth and Bluebell, are dozing in their great big cage in the dark kitchen but if you could see their tiny birdie faces you'd see one pink nose (and pink feeties, too) and one grey nose (with grey feeties). They are good girls and always go into their cage and get ready for bed as the sun sets.
We are having the strangest weather. Yesterday it was 45 F (7 C or so to you) and today it is 25 F (3 C below or so) and snowing! We are just getting fed up! I poked around a bit as Ms. Humphrey filled the bird feeders outside the budgies' bay window and lurked a bit under the firs back there and then I went around to the front of the house to check things out and do some sniffing around but I spent most of the day sacked out inside. I do enjoy the snow, though. Last year we had so much snow I made a snow angel one night when Ms. Humphrey got home. I was so happy that I ran right out the door and threw myself into the snow and stretched and stretched and bingo! There I was--immortalized for a few days right there in the front yard!
As for that nasty letter re: how your people should spend their time and money, as Ms. Humphrey has always said, "Animals can't open that refrigerator door themselves." And, "The animals always get fed first."
I just woke up (time to make a tour of the house, look out a few windows, check out the food dish and the box, ask for a brush and nag Ms. Humphrey for a few luscious kitty treats before it's time for another sack). The moon is almost full in a cold, clear sky, the same moon that you see.
Have a safe sleep, Franko.
Your American Friend,
Mamie the Muffin
Hey! I think Frank should listen to Radio Disney. He might enjoy the cool songs there! I love that station!
Hi Frank-
You looked right into the camera and i pushed
the picture button and it came out beautifully. But
of course-you are a very handsome fellow.
The tee-shirt idea is awesome. Better print up at
least a million, because they will be gone quickly.
Double time quick. Love ya , Barbara.
p.s. Geraldine the cat is too sleepy to send a
message. She has been supervising me all day and
it wore her out.
Hello Frank....Just to let you know I LOVE cats, and help them everyday in the feline rescue league I belong to! I am so glad you are doing better, and have your "loving, permanent home"! God Bless You AND your guardians! I am geting a little gray and white "foster" kitten this week, and I am going to name him "Frank"! Have a purrfect life you sweet little guy! Peace & Purrs!
