My, you are a handsome cat. My secretary Ms. Humphrey says so, too. And you have such lovely soft, clean bedding every day and so many wonderful toys! It all looks very cozy. I am so glad that you are getting so much better and are charging around the house a bit. Keep up the good work! When I was a little tiny baby (oooh! wasn't I cute!) and Ms. Humphrey cleaned the budgie cages I could walk right in through the little front door. The budgies would sit on the roof of their cage and I would be inside. Once I sat on top of a cage when the budgies were inside. They didn't seem to care for that one much.
I am, at the moment, in the garage looking out of one of my windows. The sun is just now setting and I can watch my neighbors and their two overly enthusiastically friendly (from a cat's point of view) dogs, Chelsea the Jack Russell and her little sister Phoebe the yellow lab. I am about ready to come inside and agitate for some nice, warm dinner and my nightly dish of cream.
Ms. Humphrey visited our friends Kat and Jimmy who have a new restaurant. However, I am suspicious of any endeavor that doesn't allow pets, so I stayed at home. I AM on my own agenda.
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED! Really! What is a French restaurant without a cat in the kitchen? We are extremely useful, as you know. What is a German restaurant without a dog sitting calmly by his owner's chair? What is an American restaurant without a dog AND a cat? A VERY uninteresting place, if you ask me.
Have you ever been to a pub or a restaurant? I'll bet you'll have a real party when you are mended!

Hi Frank. Missed you. I hope that you are feeling well today and is happy to hear that you are able to run around a bit.
I remember reading that as a result of the injury, you might not be able to do your thing as normal. I had a problem last year . . well similar, that was so painfull I could not jump on even a chair. They kept me in hospital for five days to rectify the problem. Thereafter I had to use Animalax every day for months to prevent a re-occurance. Boy did I grow tired of that stuff! Now I can't even stand the smell.
Well, I thought the vet might like to look into that for you. Keep well. I visit your site every day.

The cat who ownes me had an accident some years ago and required his hip pinned it took some time but he now runs around like a kitten (sometimes)

I need your advice because you seem to have got me into a bit of trouble. I am the owner of Quinn who has written to you on several occasions - he is the sleek white and tabby one with no tail? Anyway, we have been watching Frank with concern and interest for some time and Quinn has suddenly become a little jealous and will no longer speak to me! He is doing dangerous stunts to show off - and I know this will eventually cost me. Help, I have only just recovered from his last vets bill (after he had an accident not unlike Franks) I am at my wits end; yes Frank is a cutey, but he is nothing to my Quinnie! (no offense..)

I'm Norman and I live with my English owners in Italy - they adopted me when I got lost in France.
Soon after I got to Italy I too got hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis. I also had a ruptured diaphragm and my stomach and spleen went through into my rib cage. I was pretty uncomfortable for about 6 weeks in my recovery cage while my pelvis mended. Then I had to have an operation to get my stomach etc. back into the right place.
Now, 6 years later, I'm still fine and have been on holiday all over Europe. The vet said I might limp - but you should see me run and leap around the garden and house!
I've had my microchip fitted and hope to come to England one day. Maybe I'll see you. Love Norman

Bonjour Frank - Pudding in Paris again. Just wanted to let you know we're still keeping an eye on you. In fact, I heard my Dad saying to my Mum that she has two kittys now (of course you were the other one), but thats not true because I demand so much attention she doesn't have time for another kitty.
Its great to see you looking so well and keeping your Mum and Dad on their toes. These humans need so much control sometimes - I swear that if I didn't tell my Mum that its teatime from about two o'clock onwards every day, she'd forget to feed me!

I've had bald bits in the past where my fur was cut out (due to matted hairballs....niiice....) but it soon grows back, and the ladies will never notice the difference; trust me, you'll be back to your smooth old self in no time...

Just wanted to tell you that we're even keeping tabs on you here in the U.S. You're looking excellent and I'm glad to hear about your fine progress.
I lost my two cats, Vino and Rambo, in recent years to old age and miss them terribly. I have photos of them on my desk at work so I can keep them close in mind. And as I have moved into a smaller apartment I can no longer have a little furry roommate so it's nice to be able to keep tabs on you throughout the day. It's almost like having my guys back again.

So sorry to hear about your accident. I've recently been in the cat hospital myself but with lots of tender loving care from Carol & Peter I'm fully recovered - all Molly wants to do is fight me but I think she missed me really!!!
When we go out to play we are always told to KEEP OFF THE ROAD - so I think you should follow this advice too.
Tell your Mum that lots of cooked chicken will make you feel better.

I looked at your photo and thought you were a really handsome chap. Hope you are soon much better and that you can come out of your cage and get back to a normal cat life.
I am a little black and white cat who lives in the house as we live on a very busy road. However as we have a four storey house I get loads of exercise running up and down from the attic down to the cellar. In the cellar I play hide and seek amongst the boxes and sacks and my other favourite game is tormenting next door's black and white border collie - I just sit on the window sill and look at her disparagingly and she just barks and barks. It really is not a dog's life.

Dear Frank, I wrote last week to say that you had inspired me to finally be able to help my cat, Indiana Jones, who has been suffering with an infection, but wouldn't let us catch him to give him his medicine.
We fixed him up a wonderful apartment just like yours and settled him down there. He grumbles on occasion, but usually that's to say he needs more milk. We are able to give him his antibiotic regularly and I am happy to report that he is MUCH better. His infection seems to be all gone and his face is healing up. He is also eating and regaining some of the weight he lost. Thank you again, Frank. We know you are tired of being in your cage, but you have been an inspiration and help to at least one other cat in the world!

I heard about your plight from another Brit who lives here in New York City. It's my birthday today and it cheered me up no end seeing you all snuggly wuggly and getting healed and stuff. Sleep is best for that sort of thing (I love to sleep myself). Hi Frank! It's us again - the beautiful Burmese from Leeds. We've been watching over you (especially Rosy) and you're looking good. Great to hear you've been out of that cage but don't be bored - a bored cat is a boring cat you know (just like those humans we own). It's a great art doing just nothing so learn to enjoy it while you can - our Mum keeps saying she wishes she had time to be bored. Think about it! By the way we've had roast chicken again tonight - and it was extra special because Mum ran out of that silver coat she usually wraps it in so we got crispy skin too (yum!). Horrid noise though when the smoke alarm went off.
We're only spoilt 'cos Lara was quite poorly as a little kitten - food allergies the vet thinks (really quite trendy we think) and chicken does agree with us all. We're given selected cat food (yuk!) too but only the best (no beef)!
All four of us off sleeping now for another long session (do like your hobbies). Do DEMAND chicken - or rabbit lighly sauted in a little butter is quite nice too or perhaps fillet of salmon - it's quite cheap at the moment since all those horrid things the press told our parents about farming it along with chickens - they won't touch the stuff but we don't have such high morales! (Organic is better though but we can't be too demanding can we!!).

my name is Cybi (a labrador dog). my mistress(from Cardiff, Wales) has got a new computer and since she's had it, she's ignored me completely! She doesnt play games or anything. So I'm completely BORED and thought I would write to you instead!
Sounds painful, this pelvis thing. I've had my moments of being ill, pale and things. But, it doesnt always do you any harm to look a bit pale and pathetic, as you're finding out! You tend to get lots of sympathy and attention. Hmm, which reminds me, I think I'll develop that limp again tomorrow. Always a good tack, that one!

Tibbles may have to return to the vet because his ear which was operated on for an abscess recently is weeping a little bit. I haven't checked your web site for a few weeks and was so happy to read that you are doing much better! Good for you. Don't do too much jumping, tho. The doctor thinks you are not quite ready, altho I'm sure you feel otherwise.
A friend at work introduced me to your site. He knows I like cats, as I have a lovely picture of my cat, Samantha, on my desk. A few weeks ago, Sam went missing for four days! I was heatrbroken, and very, very worried. I looked for her every night and put posters up in our neighborhood with her picture. It turns out that she had gotten caught in a trap set by some people who were trying to catch their own cat that was missing. No one checked on her until the fourth day. A lady read her tag, realized that she had a home elsewhere and turned her loose. I can't tell you how happy I was to see her again.
She was ok, just a little dirty and she had a very scratchy voice - I think from crying day and night. I felt so terrible, but she was very happy to be home.
Something has changed since Sam went away. She never used to let me rub her tummy. ( I know you cats don't like that) But now she does! Why do you think that is?
Stay on the mend, Frank. We're watching you in Los Angeles.
