Hi Frank, hope you're feeling better.
I went to the vets on Friday for an x-ray on my jaw. I have a growth and need a mandibulectomy. I put up a good fight, but eventually they managed to give me the good news with the old anaesthetic - suffice it to say they had more cuts than I had bruises. I was a bit wobbly when I came round. One of my humans picked me up - I sulked a bit just to let them know what I thought - but it's alright again now - food on demand!!
Anyway hope you have a speedy recovery. Take care.
Kevin.
Frank says: Cheers Kev
Hello Frank, I'm Oliver, one of seven, I am the best looking cat in our area bar none. My Uncle Toby says be more careful when you cross the road, these humans are terrible drivers you know, he has had a few of his nine lives and is still around. Our family are nuts about us, funny these humans aren't they, we are always extracting the michael, the wallpaper makes a lovely scratch pad, they just replace it when it doesn't do the job anymore. take care, we are so very pleased you are on the road to recovery

Dear Franks - I would formally like to invite you to visit my shop when you have made a full recovery. I would advertise this in my newsletter, I was thinking that maybe we could raise some money for The Cat Protection League, maybe I could arrange for a story in the local paper (some advertising for my shop). All in all it could be an excellent move for the Cat world. You would become a well known celebrity and maybe be offered a part in a film, CPL would definitely benefit from donations, I would benefit from a little advertising. I could also possible ask Demaris Hayman (well know local actress, who lives in Cheltenham) (starred in Dr Who, House of Elliott, Terry & June, Super Gran & much more). Demaris originally opened my shop in December 2000. I didn't have to pay for her to attend, and as Demaris is an avid Cat lover herself she was more than happy for me to make a £100.00 donation to our local CPL. Let me know what you think about this possible proposition, no hurry as I know you are poorly, but it could be something to think about.
Bye for now and I will write again soon.
Take care
Julie xx
Dear Frank
I hope you will be back on your paws soon. My two cats like the wallpaper! We had a look at your x-rays...impressive! You are in good hands. Good luck to you! Caitlin/8 yrs

Get well soon Frank. I hope you are up and about very soon so that you can get out of that cage.
Love Rachel xxx
bye
I had to be in a cage for 2 weeks after I went missing for 2 days and came home with a strained back. Those pink anti-inflammatories were the pits!!! My owner had a ginger moggie, like me, who broke his pelvis too and then several years later broke his front leg and tail but survived for many years. Keep you chin up, lots of love.
Having just gone through the "cat" rehab/confinement 10 weeks late last year after my elderly moggie tore his ligaments in his knee whilst performing an act of daring do, you and Frank have my sympathies. Frank seems so well behaved ! No scratching/clawing @ the pen, no howling etc etc.....best wishes to Frank & a speedy recovery...xx
Get well soon Frank. We suggest that you stick with 5 Live it's always been our favourite.
Get well soon and take care
My owner says that our local Cheltenham radio station Cat FM (Honest!) ought to be a good choice, but Cambridge will be too far away to receive it - Shame! 107.5 FM or www.catfmonline.co.uk/radio
If he's upwell...haven in listen to something like XFM 104.9fm or Totalrock.com
Matt!!
Get well soon puss...=)
Hello Frank!
I am glad that you are recovering from your ordeal! I am also recovering from an operation I had at the vets last week, so I know how you feel, although your injuries sound a lot worse than mine. I have had to have an eye removed, because someone shot me, but I am up and about again now.
I hope that you will soon be allowed out of your cage - it won't be much fun for you at the moment.
Bye for now, hope you will soon be better.
Love from Tigger (Age 10) xx :-)
Hi Frank - I really think you should be listening to Cat fm radio (Cheltenham & Tewkesbury). They play lots of music related to Cats such as Cool for Cat, what's new pussycat, and lovecats. I always have this station on in my cat shop. Let me know what you think!!!
Love Julie x

We have been thinking about you lots and lots. We hope you are feeling much better. Sammy has lost one of his nine lives just like you because he went in the tumble dryer and mummy switched it on when she wanted to dry the towels but luckily Natalie was wondering where he was and found him and let him out. He was Ok but a bit dizzy! We love Sammy very much and we are Joshua age 10 and Adam age 6 and mummy is always very careful now when she does the washing and drying.

Hi there Frank,
We just had a great idea. We have found some great wallpaper on a website about a cat hospital. It would look great on one wall of your cage, actually, it looks a bit like you! Do you fancy a spot of decorating. Maybe your keepers could print off some of the pictures you have been sent of other animals, and you could get your whole room done as well. We saw you with a laptop the other day, - were you surfing the interpet, sorry the internet? We are all so glad to see you improve each day, and ,like we say, we can definitely recommend this new wallpaper! Lots of love and purrs , Bonnie and Clyde.
Get well from Gran canaria
Love from roger and Julian
P.s. Come here on your kitty passport

Oscar sends his best wishes for a speedy recovery
Make the most of your time in bed Frank, before you know it the big people will be making you go outside for a 'nice breath of fresh air' as they call it. Best be off - I'm not meant to use the internet without human supervision...
We were shocked to hear about your trouble, Frank. Pelvis can be nasty, though what would Harry know about that department, since he got done before he'd had a chance to use his. But all our sympathies go out to you - especially if you ever have to wear one of those damned lampshade things. I had to have one when I got my tail ripped up by a squirrel - I swear the little critter did it AFTER I'd got its head off, too, and poor old Harry had to have a HUGE one on for ages when he nearly lost an eye in a fight with the Burmese up the road. The humiliation was worse than the pain.
Anyway, mate, all the very best and if you're ever over in Finland, the herring are on us, alright?
This has been got out by a friend.
frank, você é um gato muito desatento, esqueceu de olhar para os dois lados da rua. Olhe da próxima vez e cuidado com os cachorros!!!!!!
I think Frank should listen to the swedish radio channel P3, maybe he'll learn some swedish! :)

Dear Fwank,
I fink you look purrrrfectly handsome, so rugged. I fink you are probably quite amewsing too. I am having a lovely life, but as an only child and with my two doggy friends now in doggy heaven, I get a little lonely sometimes. Would you like to be my purrpal? I'm sure my mum would let me ring you. We could purr in harmony. How's about it handsome? The grub is brill here too and no nasty smelly fings which hurt you. I purr a lot. And eat a lot. And sleep quite a bit. And as for my toys! Well! Get well soon so you can get back to having some fun. Sending you lots of nice dreams. Lots of love, Ruddles.
Frank says: Purring is good
Hey Frank, you're looking very active tonight, maybe you should slow down a bit. As much as my human and me love to watch you, we'd rather not be able to and know that you're 100%. Night night Frankie, see you tomorrow. Love and catnip Bear xxx
In a finnish newspaper was a story about you :) http://www.iltasanomat.fi/uutiset/ulkomaat.asp#id308647

HI FRANK, I'M MURPHY A CAT FROM PLYMOUTH,HOPE YOU ARE BETTER SOON.XX
Hello Frank. We all hope that you get well soon. You are certainly` looking perky, there is not much that can keep a good cat down! Fidget, Fudge, Khan (otherwise known as The Three Mouseketeers or the feline deliquents), Ebony (OAP - old age pussycat), Dougal and Charlie (Shih Tzu dogs) all send their love and best wishes. Please give our best wishes to your humans, Frank. Bye for now.
I hope you make a full recovery so you can enjoy the rest of your life playing eating and sleeping. You must be a very lucky cat to survive that accident.Be careful not to over do things until you get properly better.hope you have lots of company and nice things to eat.
I have a cat called Rachel, she is nearly 14 yrs old if anything should ever happen to her i don't know what i would do.Her favourite food is squirty cream. She always likes company to eat also.I have another cat called Tizzy who is nearly 18, she looks like a blue smoke persian but is only a tabby.
Hi Frank
Just love your website! Saw your picture in the paper and just had to drop you a line! My name is Harry and I am a rather handsome black cat. I live with my Mum, her other half and five other cats! I too had to spend some time confined to quarters - I had a spiral fracture in my front leg and spent several weeks in one of those awful cages. I found a really good way to get back at these humans is when you use the litter tray at 5.00 in the morning! It's handy when you feel that it would be nice to have someone to talk to at that quiet time! Now that I am out and about I still like to get them up at 5.00 and that's by biting their toes - they just love it!!
Anyway, Mum says it's time to sort those litter trays out and that I must go to bed. 'Stay Cool' Frank.
Harry
Frank says: ok, I'm cool......
Hello precious little cat with the big, beautiful expressive eyes ~
Yes, I mean you Frankie! It's so good to watch you day by day getting a little better with each passing day. It sounds like you had quite a fast and furious time the other day when you went for a QUICK visit (through your human's legs) and over to see your doggie siblings. I know it was an important trip for you because you had to let the dogs know. that although they have not seen you for a few weeks, being the CAT, you are still very much IN CHARGE of all things around the house! And they should not get any ideas in their heads about being TOP DOG or any other such ridiculous notions as that - you are here TO STAY now, and as such, you are the one-and-only true ruler of the roost. I'm glad the doggies were happy to see you - they must have been wondering where you were all this time. (I'm quite sure the dogs sit around and ponder such thoughts as these and even deeper thoughts as well.) :-) You must learn the ancient art of PATIENCE honey. "Patience" is the key that will finally unlock the door of your cage once and for all. Then sweet freedom will follow, and you will be happy evermore. You might have to get used to the idea of being an "in-door" cat from now on, (Yikes, I know!) but it will be okay - you'll be very safe then and your masters won't have to worry about a repeat performance involving you and anymore big, hard, fast moving shiny metal objects on wheels. They know what's best for you so you be a good little pal and follow their orders, ok?
With much love , cold noses, and whisker kisses always,
~ Debra and "Juliet-the-cat" in sunny California USA
Get well soon Frank you're our hero love from Honky (the white cat ) and Noggin ( the tortoise shell cat ) XXXX
