I say frank should try listening to radio 2 with Ken Bruce in the morning after Terry wogan and Steve Wright in the afternoon (2pm - 5pm) where you can chill good old classics and relax while getting better. Hope he gets better soon.

get well soon frank says sheba the dog

Hello Frank:

We have 10 kitties in and around our property. One of ours is in a cage that we call the feline nursing home. She is quite elderly (15) and has a heart murmer. Several years ago she had a mild stroke, so the other cats in the home are not very nice to her sometimes (pecking order and all that). So we set her up with a large dog cage with all the trimmings including litter, a nice carpeted shelf for sleeping and a hanging toy. She comes out about 3 times week just to sleep on her favorite chair under our supervision. I am so sorry to hear about your accident. You have such wonderful family to be taking care of you this way. I hope you will be feeling fit and frisky again soon.

We really do hope that you recover fully, and that you do not get run over again. Lucky you, that those nice people found you and saved you from the bus. I am glad that you enjoy your feather!

Dear Frank:

My heart cries for you being caged like a freak, but I know you are being cared for and so I wish you Godspeed for a full and quick recovery and that your humans will set you free!

Dear Frank: this is followup to my earlier email. I wish to apologize for sounding harsh; I was wrong because your caregivers are wonderful to care for you and I pray you will be good as new.

get well frank and god look

Hi Frank!!!
I"m SP/Brasil and I love cats!!!
God bless you!!!
Kisses...

Dear Frank, Get well greetings from the gang.We picked Jude to send this message for us. we got
tired of fighting over who would use the computer.
The consensus is that you should beg your human family not to let you outside ever again!!!! otherwise you will trip them so that they will fall down the steps, roll out the door and under a car!!!!Abit harsh, but when you're hurting evil thoughts can take over your mind. We only jest but perhaps now they will realize how close they came to loosing you!!! We have sent out a copy of your sad story to our brothers and sisters at all local union halls,a referendum won unanimos approval in that upon your arrival at home, you shall be granted unlimited access to a laundry baket filled with warm,CLEAN, clothes on a daily basis. IF not our local here,#999, will be at your address post haste in your support. Our Doberman pal, Ronan has offered protection if necessary! Till later kid, hang in there!! The union will be in touch!!!!

Puss!

Foxy and Sarah, my cats, and I are rooting for your complete recovery. If you are ever in Alta Loma, California (bring your owner if you must), you must stop in and visit us.

A concerned fan.

Hi again, Frank
Just seen the piece about you in The Mail on Sunday. Wow - you get more handsome every day. Nice to see that your messages include one about The Cats Protection League - my slave makes a regular donation to the charity, gets its magazine with lots of photos of real cool cats. Not all pusscats are as lucky as you and I, with willing slaves to spoil us rotten - the CPL works hard to look after and rehome all cats who've fallen on hard times, encourage neutering (ouch!) so that there won't be hundreds of thousands of poor unwanted kittens and generally inform people about how to care for us felines.

Lots of hugs, Frank - I think I'm falling in love ... Lucy

Hi sweet little Frankeiboy

Dear Frank

I've not been very well just lately either. I've got a very serious liver infection and I've been very low. The vet suggested to my parents that I be put to sleep as I'm rather old at 14 (people years) but they said I was still eating and full of life so the vet decided to give me a chance. I've been put on these tablets that daddy gives me with dairylea cheese 4 times a day and I'm improving. I'm eating much more and am returning to normal - not bad for an old cat. I even had the energy to chase my tail yesterday which mummy was very pleased to see.

Take care of yourself Frank.

Jasper

Frank says: Well done Jasper
Hi Frank.Lucifer here(sleek, black, male and no tail).
My humans just read about you in Your Cat mag. They told us all about you.Sorry to hear you had an accident. One of my companions, Waket, got knocked down by a car two weeks ago.She wasn`t lucky enough to have someone find help her and she didn`t make it.They buried her in the garden near the big clump of catmint. I also had a bad accident three years ago.I broke a back leg and lost my tail because of damage and then infection set in. I used to hate going to the vet`s but they looked after me pretty well, so I guess I should say a big thank you to them. I can still run up trees better than my companions(Gandalf...tabby, grey, male,Spooky, white with black patches, male and daft,Esme...tortoiseshell, small, female and Spooky`s sister),and I am the best hunter. I have learned to live without my tail, although it`s a bit chilly round the back end when the weather is cold. I had a pin put in my leg and wasn`t supposed to jump for eight weeks. That`s a long time to be shut in with only a stupid stuffed mouse to practice hunting skills on. Hang in there. That first time outside will be sooo great. Have to go.Esme has just bought a live mouse in to play with and I WANT IT!!!!! Well, I am the oldest, the boss and I`m real sneaky.I always get them off her.Meow.

Frank.

I used to have a ginger tabby called "Bill".

His favorite radio station was :

Dear Frank,
I've just remembered something which you may want to suggest to your humans. A couple of years ago I met someone who had a very old cat who couldn't go outside much, and couldn't see very well either. He spent most of his time in the house and his owner was concerned in case he was bored or lonely when she was at work, so she came up with this clever plan. She found a small coffee table which had just the right distance between the lower and upper shelves to fit a glass tank in. Then she went and bought a couple of mice, put them in the tank along with all the requisite mouse-entertaing items, put the cage on the lower shelf of the table, and put this in her room. Then her cat could watch the mice, but not get at them. He seemed to like doing this. Does this appeal? Get well soon, and happy St. Patrick's Day!

Just alittle regard from Denmark to tell you I
love Cat. K R

Dear Frank

Hope you are feeling alright, and will be out and about fairly soon. I am feeling a bit down at the moment because my friend Richard the Hamster died. We had a funeral for him yesterday, and he is now buried under a mint plant at the top of our garden, so I can go and meow to him when I want to.

Meow for now.

GET WELL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON FRANKY BABY!!!!!!

Hello Frank
Ainsley and I have just read about your accident (Ainsley is my cat) I hope you feel better soon.
My other cat Jessie was hit by a car and she was poorly for a long time. I think her recovery was hampered by my grandad trying to force feed her cat milk with a syringe!! Mind you, this is the man who, as a 21st birthday present, paid for me to get Jessie neutered - there's a sense of humour for you!!! Hope your owners are a little more sympathetic.

Love and wisker tickles

Frank, sorry to hear that you are poorly. Hope you will soon be out in the garden annoying the birds again, like I do! Love from Pepsi D.(Big fat spoilt white cat x)

Hi Frank

My cat, Yoyo, was hit by a car when he was about a year old and broke the ball joint on the top of his femur. The vet couldn't pin it and told me to keep him in, not to allow him to jump and gave me painkillers to stop it hurting. Well, he stuck it for a week, cooped up in my bedroom, then he made his escape bid.

He tried to get out of the door, but only suceeded in tearing up the carpet and stopping the door from opening. I had to get a knife to run under the door and push the carpet back down before I could get in! Back to the
drawing board. He waited til I bought his food, shot between my legs, down the stairs and into the kitchen, jumped up onto the worktop and tried to get out of the window.

We discussed his need for freedom and I decided that he knew if it hurt , so I let him out. Hurray!!!!!

He spent most of the next few weeks sleeping in the sun in the garden until his leg healed, and he never looked back.

That was 16 years ago and he now has a permanent spot in the garden as he went for the Big Sleep on the 27th February. We all miss him lots, but he was very tired and not in the best of health (well what do you expect at nearly 17!).

If you make enough fuss Frank, maybe they'll let you have a wander about the house, after all, the exercise will do you good.

Take care little puss, just remember your Green Cross code in future!!

Frank says: Green cross code, and the Tufty club
Dear Frank,
my typing isnt too good, (or why do it yourself when you dont have too!!!) so I have instructed my human servant to write to you today. She read me your article in the Mail On Sunday this morning and when I eventually got her out of bed, she logged on to your site to show me your photos. As per my instructions (she has her uses sometimes) she has made the test card wallpaper Freds (the computer) screen saver. One day I will be the screen saver, but until then at least one good looking feline is in the rightful place.

I wish you well in your recovery & I will make this site one of my favorites so Karen can keep me updated with your progress.

Best wishes

Syd

Best wishes,

Frank should listen to Radio 4 on a Sunday afternoon because there will be a play. This will expand his imagination and take his mind off his poor hip! Does he not get a little bored in that cage?....

Frank says: Oh yes....
