Messages to Frank - 17th Mar

Hey, Frank, you rest and recover! My wife and I and the three kitties who own us (Cleoparta, DeeDee, and Amelia T. Cat) all wish you the absolute best.

Dear Frank,

Great news that you are getting better; watch you on the Internet everyday. Just hoping that your owners aren't going to let you roam outside anymore as we'd hate for you to get run over again!!! Make sure you stay in the house; a much safer place to be.

We'll keep watching your recovery and thinking of you.

Cat lovers from America!!!

Howdy!
My name is Shoes. I am at present perched on the computer with one leg resting on the monitor. The camera is also on the monitor ,if mom moves I will get down to foil a picture attempt . so don't expect to see my brilliant , handsome face until I'm ready. And by the way get well soon, although naturally I come first and am ever so much more important than you. Mom says it must be devasting to your people that you've been hurt. She shouldn't be interested in anyones health but mine. Get well so she can return her full attention to me!

Hi Frank, I'm a Black lab puppy and I got run over too. I am all mended now, and I am really good at looking out for cars!!! I live in New Zealand so you are mostly asleep when I look at you. By the way, how does it feel to have hundreds of people looking at you all at once. Hope you don't have any bad hair days. Keep well. Bosco (Dog that loves cats) woof woof

Frank says: It feels nice

Be a good boy and no more leggin it for the door!

Take it easy mate

DJ Bongo C

Frank says: Thanks Bongo!
Hi Frank,
Hope you get better soon. Also hope you are not getting too bored. About four years ago my Slave Diana, whom I share my home with and all my brothers and sisters was really worried about me. I went missing for five days and one morning I decided to make a drag (couldn't walk) back home. Diana heard my cries and came out and got me. She took me to the Vet and it was discovered I had a broken leg. The Vet to this day cannot believe I survived so long without food, water and a broken leg. I had a plaster put on but during the night I had much fun in chewing it off. Next day when the Vet checked me he was horrified! He sent out for material to make a stronger cast for my leg. I was so happy the day Diana came to take me home. Some of my brothers and sisters would come up to my cage and look, some of the others didn't care! I was confined for 6 weeks, but Diana used to take me out and walk with me in her arms around the garden. I was also lucky that Diana had another big cage which she set up at her work by the window, so I was able to enjoy exciting things during the day. I hope you are not getting bored. Take care. Lots of love Janet Gokalp

Frank says: wow
Frank, I hope you get well soon. You look like a friend of mine who used to scratch at the patio window on summer nights ....sigh... the memories! I am a tortoise shell older female (13), but I play like a three year old. I live all the way over here in Illinois in the US, and it is too cold to have the window open now. I wish I could visit you in the hospital. Get well soon and do like me, just sit in the window and soak up the sun! If you're lucky, your owner will get you some birds in a cage or some fish.
Take care Frank!

frank ...

wishing i could 'blink' you better right now!! .. stanley and sammy (my two cats) and i have been watching you for the last couple of days. the boys think you are real brave and wanted to wish you well .. hope you continue to get better!! we can't wait to see you running around the house!! .. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo .. and lots of scratches behind the ears and caresses, 'm', stanley, and sammy

Hi Frank, I just heard about your accident a week ago and I feel so sorry for you. I stay indoors all of the time, so I don't think I would ever get hurt like you did. I hope you mend real fast, and can go home to your family real soon. If I lived closer to you (I live in Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA), I would come and give you a big Get Well Kiss! You are a handsome fellow! Love, Heidi

Frank says: Thanks hedi

We(myself and Von Helzing,Vladmir,Conrad,Little Foot, and Church)are very sorry to hear of Frank's misfortune, and are keeping him in our thoughts and prayers. Our Conrad Kitty had a similar incident a few years back and thankfully has made a full recovery. We hope for the same for Frank. We were wondering if Frank will still be allowed outside to play considering what has happened. My kitties are all indoor cats now and have adjusted to the restriction and are much safer for it.It's something to consider. Prayers and Blessings of the Universe to Frank and his family, Love and best wishes, Beth Hall-Whitlock,Deer Lake,Pa.,USA

We, All the people of Mexico, want that Frank gets well soon.

Greetings from Mexico.

Frank says: Wow, thats a lot of people!!
we are two cats 14 next june, we have lived with our lovely but quite strange friend all this time, not once has she put us in a cage like that, why don you put up with it? if you need a new home we are sure ,she wouldnt mind making a bit more room for you!!!!!

Hi, i am a brazilian man and i love cats, all of them are beautful. In short future we'll see Frank happy and FREE!!! Ok, i'd like to see Frank in another angles, so, i register my e-mail but the only message a recive don't show me the path to see the third camera. CAN YOU TELL ME??? Sorry, my english is poor but i (try to) do my best. Bye!

Hey FRANKIE_BABY!!!
my human told me about your injury. I have a sore or broken leg too.

I've been limping around for several weeks, but now have the problem semi-solved by putting my good back leg under my middle of my belly so it holds me up like a tripod.

my human has 8 female goats, 2 male goats, too many chickens to count, and too many wild cats to count.
they showed up one by one, when their previous owners dumped them off on a country road nearby.

my owner tried to trap as many of them as possible and get them "fixed" for free under the "feral cat program" in California.

In case your admiring public has some california owners, tell them about this, so maybe they can help keep unwanted kitties from suffering so.

P.S
I'm called " Talker", because I discovered if I try to talk"human-talk" the owners of this little farm think it's "cute" and let me come in the house for a while to pig-out on some DELUX food the other cats don't get.
my "owner's" email is: hunter10039@hotmail.com in case you recover enough to get in touch.

Good morning Frank, I saw yesterday that you are doing alot better you move around and that makes me happy. I printed your picture and also made it my background picture on the PC you are so pretty. Now that you getting so much mail I don't get a answer anymore but that is okay because I know that D has alot to do I will keep on writing and watching you. Now I wish you a happy day and I see you at feeding time because you still not online it's only 5.45 your time. See you later.
People always ask did you get food are you ever move if the stay only 2 min or so they can't see you doing all this things but I can tell them yes Frank eat he clean hisself and he rock the cadge at times. Love Irene/Germany

Frank says: Sorry Irene, things will be bback to normal soon :--)

Meow Frank,

Victor and William here again. We've been thinking about you a lot and Joolz, our female human had tears in her eyes as she read about your rescuers. She was remembering a cat called Theo she used to have. Theo ran out in front of a car. The car's occupants stopped straight away and found Theo sprawled in the gutter. They took him to the vet (they had cats of their own) and then drove round to Theo's house to tell her human and drive her to the vet. Theo was very lucky - he was just badly bruised - and when Joolz rang to tell Theo's rescuers that he was OK, the male human rescuer burst into tears because he was so relieved!

So Frank, you see what respect, love and adoration we can inspire in our humans.

Purrs, chirrups and chin-rubs for you, your humans and your saviours!

Victor, William, Joolz and Chris

Frank really is a gorgeous kitty! I hope he'll be fine and healed soon. But, could you play him something a bit more calming, like classical music? From experience I know that cats are not so much into continuous chatting, rapping and rock music... (eventhough I do love rock 'n' roll ;-) Must separate human likes from cat likes...

Hi there Frank,

Just wanted to say hello and wish you a speedy recovery.
Just concentrate on getting well enough to run daft and cause feline chaos when you recover.

Best wishes

Graham

Hello Frank! Mom showed your picture to me and my two sisters (Nina & Gracie) and to our dog Angel (Nina's best friend). When my people first brought me home I had a hole in my diaphragm and had to have major surgery at a special cat hospital in New York. I didn't think being in the hospital was much fun. I hope you get to go home soon. We'll keep you in our prayers and hope for a quick recovery. We listen to TheJoyFM (contemporary Christian music). Give it a try. All our best to you.

Dear Frank & friends,
Our dear friends lost their cat Cally to an inlarged heart 2 days ago. They are grieving so, it is pitiful. I certainly hope that you frank have learned how valuable you are to your family and will mind your manners when you are outside! I also recommend that you find some gainful employment to help with your hospital bills!! ;O)
We love our little furry friends so much........it's amazing how much we suffer when you are injured or ill. Hugs to you all,
Terry

My cat was also hit by a car on feb 7 this year. She sustained ligament damage to her back leg and like you she had to be in a cage for some weeks. To help her heal quickly I put some crystals in her cage with her and it worked. Ask your owner to put a clear quartz crystal, an amethyst crystal and some citrine in your cage to aid your recovery. It works. All the best and get well soon. Charline

Frank says: ok I'll see of they can find some

GiGi, Chow mix found on street Heidi, Chow mix found a home in our yard when her owners cut her loose and moved away Missy, MinPin from shelter Char, black cat found in alley Chloe, baby from stray mom (found moma and rest of babies a home) Gypsy, left deserted in a house
Abigail, found as a tiny baby under the frount steps
Cindy, snotty Siamiese purchased 18 years ago
All send love and hugs from......Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Suggestion :

Purchase a cheap ultraviolet security camera (about 30 quid) and connect it up as a fourth monochrome webcam. Cats can't see in ultraviolet (at least ours can't) and folk will be able watch Frank after lights-out without disturbing him. As an entertaining side-affect, Frank's eye's will reflect the ultraviolet light back at the camera.

Mike.

Frank says: We are woking on it
Frank,
Why don't you find a country station to listen to? I honestly don't see how you can snooze with all that noise you call music. By the way, I wish I had a cat like you, but the flat I live in won't allow me to have a pet.

Get well soon.

Frank you are fab and fluffy hope you get well soon.

Frank, are you not proud, that you made it almost all over the world !!! give a long miauw to your sponsor !! saludos from Santiago, Chile, all the best, hope you feel better soon, gabriela

Hello Frank,

I am Kitti (with an I not with a Y! She has even pronounced my name wrong!) Anyway, I have just read what my wicked stepsister Emmy has written about me two days ago! And I am here to get a lot of things right!!! She totally twisted the facts again, but she is just jealous because she used to rule the whole house (her sister Saffy the Burmese she mentioned, respected her too much but I DON`T!!!) She is just upset because I keep trying to establish myself here, what involves chasing her and her sister up and down the stairs, ok, but what would you do if you are totally new in a home and find that there are allready 2 cats? You need to make them respect yourself, do you? ANt then she keeps complaining about my weight, I have read that!! But at least, I do have some curves and shapes while she looks like a little kitten greyhound! Even the colour is the same, plus she has stripes on her tail while she keeps claiming to be a single colour cat! Ha! What a nonsense, the stripes are there!!

Ant wht should I do but eating and eating? There is nothing mor going on in ,my life since I cannot go out any more chase mice, throw frogs through the air that I have fished from the neihbour`s pond or sleep on their little garden house. I had a tough life, Franky, and Emmy writes like it is all my fault and I amnothing but fat and white.

Well, I was born in October 1997 on a farm in the Westerwald, Germany. I was one of 4 white kittens, born by a white cat, whose babies never are anything but white no matter who their father is. She passed us all her white genes plus her enormours fear of human beings. I mean - they are huge and loud, they smell disgustingly especially when they smoke. They want to touch us all the time, and this can be quite frightning to a little baby cat like me who spent her first weeks in the straw seeking warmth with her siblings and the mum. As an autumn cat, it was not easy, anyway. But then, something terrible happened. Our human, the farmer, dcided he had enough cats and wanted to get rid
to catc he announced that every child (his one ones and the neighbours) who would be able to grab one of us would be rewarded with 10 Marks and the unlucky kitten would get a new home! Unfortnatelly, I was among the first to b captured, and they packed me in a rabbit cage and transported me to a neighbour village. Among two affectionate humans with their two playful babies, there was a huge tomcat with whom I made friends very soon. He would bring me living mice and teach me how to kill them and how tasty they are and it was a wonderful time. Then, one day, the human family was gone. I didn`t know what to do and the only wy to comfort myself was throwing myself in several passionate one night affairs until they finally came back from their two week holiday. 2 months later, beside the bed of the frightned woman and during the absence of her husband, I gave birth to four colourful screaming kittens. Okay, the colour appeared only later as they were naked of course when they were first born. Only a day later, \I had to face the first tragedy: the only white one died of unknown circumstances during her sleep, bu there was no time to moan, I had plenty work with the remaining 3, had mice to catch and bring them home, show the boys and girls what do do with them.

After a month, something strange and painful happened. One after the other just disappeared. kept searching for them behind the seats an I kept calling them, but my humans just hugged me and said they could not keep them all. But time for revenge came soon: Soon came the time the woman hd a baby, and I made it sneeze and cough and being oh so miserable! It was a sad picture but I enjoyed every time! But then another stranger came. The woman put me into my basket, tomcat Peter with me and handed me to the young woman.

She simply gave us away and we moved house again, Peter and I!It was quiet where the woman lived as she had no human kids but she was affectionate and a non smoker so that I soon dared to share her bed something I would never do in my old home. Unfortunatelly, Peter left onl a year later, he chosed his old territory above me! Meoooouw! So much about true friendship!

There was a lot going on in Bianca`s (the human) life, there was a strange guy with a strange language who kept appearing and she kept leaving me alone for days but set her sister to look after me and comfort me during her absence.

One day, she took me to the vet and I had to get a chip in my neck and several vaccinations. Half a year later, furniture started to disappear, boxes of stuff where packed and loaded into a big van. Finally, when I had no more piece to hide behind, they captured me, lockd me into the basket and put me into the van as well.

And then we drove. We drove and drove for hours, I hate driving and did my best to give the humans a bad time but the journey lasted for nearly two days until we arrived here and I had to put up with EMMY! AND Saffy, both fuffing and spitting at me, but I fuffed and spit at them! Meoooooooow!

Okay Frank now you know my point of view, and aprt from that - believe me, she has an awfully loud voice! You would go crazy!!

Yours,
fluffy Kitti

Hi again Frank, hows it going? Looking good today I see. Anyway, I hope you are making the most of this situation - I refused to eat while I was in the cage until they fed me tuna - and now I get it all the time - fantastic!! I was in almost exactly the same situation as you except after my op to put the pelvis back together I could only get around on 3 legs until I had another op... so you're doing pretty well.

Hope its not all too painful, keep taking the tablets!
Cheers,
Jake

I sorry I have only just starting sending messages but my human only found out about you on Thursday 14 - she's so busy with her new job, her ever demanding daughters (quite grown up now - into clubbing etc.) and me, of course. I demand food, cuddles and play which I get because I'm lovely. I told you yesterday that I thought I fancied you - well my human says I shouldn't really 'cause its not nice as I'm neutered!!

I bet your humans must be quite stressed with looking after you but at the same time must be feeling so proud that you have so much attention. I would visit but I'm not sure where you live and I'd probably get lost as I only ever stay in our garden which is full of lovely birds and mice to watch. Well, I best sign off now and will send another message tomorrow. All my family are off out this evening so I have the house to myself - might have a party or something.

Bye and luv and kisses,
Rangi the Somali Cat xxxx

PS. Do you know what a Somali is?

As an expatriot New Zealander living in Vancouver, Canada, I regularly go into the New
Zealand Herald website to catch up on the news - WWW.nzherald.co.nz - this where I read about Frank. Glad to see he is getting better - my own cat had the same injury about 10 years
ago and is now coming up to her 17th birthday.I remember the agony of trying to keep her in the dog's
carrying cage.
Speedy recovery Frank - though it sounds like speed is not a problem!

Dear Frank, I hope you get well very soon so you can go out and have fun with your cat friends! I'm thinking of you as is my cat Maya, at least she would be if she wasn't so damn selfish and just sleeping all the time. Stupid cat. Cats suck. Except for you, Frank, you are a god.

I'm a Southern California Cat, so I'd hate being stuck in that cage. I love my naps in the sun way too much! I hope you're feeling better soon, so you can get out in the fresh Spring air. I'll be thinking of you! Your Friend,
Maudie

Hi Frank,

We're Zack & Zoe, two adorable fellow felines in California. We were so saddened to learn that another one of our species is in such a bad way. We hope you mend up real soon. Meanwhile, let us give you a little feline to feline advice: Play your distress for all it's worth (humans are suckers for that sort of thing and will give you lots of extra treats and pets!) It works for us every time!

Love,
Zack & Zoe

Dear Frank,

Hang in there, buddy. Hope you are back to your old self soon!

Your friend,
Dingo the cat

Hello Frank,
We hope you'll be better soon. We are two cats from Stockholm, Sweden. We have both been in cat hospital so we know how you feel. Our mistress came to see us every day. She brought us all kind of food that we like. Hope your owner does that too. You take care now.

Mischa the abessinian and Zorba the housecat

Hi, Frank.

I read about you and your site in our local newspaper yesterday. What a lucky little guy you are. It sounds as if you have at least a couple of guardian angels watching over you.

Hey, Frank

It's good to see you're on the mend! When one isn't well it helps, doesn't it, to know others are thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I have both views of you open on my computer, and when my day becomes particularly hectic I check to see how you're getting on, which puts it all in perspective! Thank you for that.

Frank says: thankyou
Hello Frank,I hope you feel better soon!

Dear Frank,
Sorry you've had a bad accident, these humans (except our humans of course) aren't very careful when we're out on the prowl are they?!

Hope your pelvis is on the mend and you are getting lots of love and attention, fish and chicken as well(our favourite foods).

Best wishes furry comrade from 3 Yorkshire pussy cats.

Kit, Molly and Sidney xx
(and our humans Terry and Sarah)

Hello, Frank.

My Mom is helping me send this message and really what I want to know is, would you like a girlfriend to keep you company in your cage? Because my sister Tilly fancies you and our Mom could do with a rest from the 'Naughty Tortie'. Infact our Mom says she might have to get a cage anyway for her. The 'naughty tortie' got into a whole heap of trouble yesterday, when she ran off with Mom's bracelet and it slipped down the plug hole of the sink then Tilly came home without her collar! Regards Tammy

Frank says: oh no, the plughole...
Hey frank, i heard about youre accident, tough break! get well soon! whats it like being cooped up in a cage all day? My cats Max,Robert,Scratchy and Dodger would go mad. Your a really brave little guy and keep battling that broken pelvis. Any plans for escape?? Greg xx

Frank should listen to TotalRock, especially the show called The Twisted Sisterz on Saturday between 12 - 3, three lovely girls who absolutely adore Frank and who play happy music that will make him feel better.

You can tune in to TotalRock on Sky digital channel 885 or on totalrock.com

Hi Frank...hope you're feeling better, me, my wife Louise, and our five inside cats (Sage, Orange, Collette, Yma, and Chuckles) have been taking turns keeping an eye on you. We're all envious when we see you sleeping (especially when we're at work). We've also told Downey, our downstairs basement kitty, and the kids outside (two orange and one gray) about our new friend Frank who we watch on the computer. They said to say hi! Bet you love that new blue catnip mouse - all our cats are quite jealous, except when they jump on the dinner table and grab some chicken or pizza - but you behave better than that, don't you? Well, we'll be watching...and tell your owner to keep the cam when you're feeling better. We want to be your friends for life!! Brian Goslow, Louise Mutterperl, and all our happy cats, Worcester, Massachusetts, USa

Frank,

Cats Pete, Jack, Chuck & Jeter send you best wishes from Camas, WA in the US. Jack is most impressed with your recovery.

You are a very lucky cat. Two previously cats were deliberately hit by cars and did not survive. The current gang hope you will become an inside cat, like they are. It's tough to look at birds from behind a window, but a lot safer than being around cars!

Hello Frank,
Rosie has just started to watch you after Goose told her about you. Goose was very naughty and watched you when she should have been working! We both think you are very brave and will keep watching you until you get better. Lots of hugs, Rosie and Goose!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Frank, hope you get better soon. My grandma is in hospital too. We have a rescue cat called Molly, she is black and gorgeous, and drinks from the loo sometimes, do you do that too?

get wellsoonxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think the cat should listen to TotalRock.com
Listening to it always makes me feel better.
Get well soon kitty.

Frank,

I just came across your site. I have two dogs (Great Pyrenees) and two cats. I'll be thinking of you and checking in on you from time to time, just to see how you're doing.

I'm sorry for your pain. Hopefully, you will mend and the pain will diminish. Hugs, kisses, strokes and chin-scratches (if you like them).

Pam

Dear Frank
I hope that you are feeling better soon.

Hi Frankie

We read about your plight in the daily rag and thought we would send you a message of support. You'll soon be up to scrath and running about with your mates. Baby sends wet nose kisses and the brothers Paris and Blue said they will check in on you from time to time.

Our mum and dad send you lots of strokes and a tickle under the chin.

Bye Frankie. x

Dear Frank,
We hope you soon recover from your ordeal, and in future, please STAY AWAY FROM CARS! Best wishes from two ardent cat lovers.

Frank is favourite of the Twisted Sisterz, presenters on the radio station TotalRock. Every Saturday during the show the girls and the listeners monitor Frank on the webcam and dedicate a special song for him even though he only seems to listen to Radio 1. Frank has been adopted as the show's pet...we all love him!

Hi Frank,

Hi, Frank! Here in Brazil the day was very, very hot and I decided to spent all my time sleeping in a confortable place but, my human decided to bath me. Could you imagine this? Water and shampoo! Hi Frank,

I saw you on the computer. You poor little guy. A girl I work with gave me your address.(Diane from the YMCA in Quincy, MA) She loves her cats the way I do. Hope you are all better by the time you receive this note.

Love you,

Adele Q.(from the YMCA)

Dear Frank
I was sorry to hear of your misfortune. Once I had a furry mate called Oscar who saw fit to go down to the steel works near us and get himself electrocuted. My mum got him all fixed up and the next time he went out he did it again but this time he was frazzled. All good wishes Frank. Keep your whiskers up. Love Max

Frank says: Oh no!
Dear Frank

I love cats and I have four. I do not know each one I like the most. When I saw your history on magazine I thought this is a brave cat.
I wish you the same I wish to my cats: the best.

kisses and Kisses
Janaina

Frank, just wishing you goodnight as its almost lights out time. Hope you're comfortable. The humans have been out tonight, older ones to see a pop concert done by people who aren't the real ones, Elvis (he's no longer with us), Tina Turner, shes 62 and Freddie Mercury (Queen), he died, but I don't think you were born when he died, I think he died the year I was born. The younger humans are out clubbing and will be in about 3.00am. I may go out for a while but its raining.

I overheard today that my man human is going to turf over my lavatory spot - where will I go then?

Still thinking of you lots, I hope you can get out and about soon.

Luv, as always

PS Don't forget to let me know if you know what a Somali cat looks like.

PPS Are you getting to know me a bit better
now, as I am going to send you lots of messages.

Hello Frank - I had the same type of accident and injury 6 years ago ... and I have fully recovered, eventhough it took some 5-6 months before I was fully on top again, ... I think that lots of love, attention, and fresh PRAWNS got me back on the track. But for the rest of my life I will be careful with anything on wheels ... and addicted to prawns ... Hope you will have a fast and successful recovery. By the way, I think that your green necklace looks a bit tight, ask your folks to loosen it a little, if necessary. Lots of positive thoughts and CatKisses CatColumbus

Dear Frank.

We are glad to see you are on the mend. Fortunately our cats are not too near a road but we are all glad that you got rescued by those kind people and look what has happened as a result - you are a star.

Do you plan to go into films or TV when you are better as a result of your new found fame and can we have a paw-tograph if you do?

Love from all humans and cats from South Wales.

Night, night dear little Frank

Night night Frank sleep well.

Adene
