Messages to Frank - 15th Mar page 2
After reading all the sad stories about injured and killed cats, I want to ask:Doesn't anyone in your country keep their cats indoors? Here in the US all the cat orgs, the
SPCA, the Humane Societies etc. recommend the all cats become indoor cats.
Some breeders will not let their cats go unless the buyer promises to do just that.
Here where I live, a very thickly populated area in the Northeast, there are coyotes in addition to the vicious cars etc.
My mum lost a cat to a car 20 years ago and
since then all her cats have lived long and happy lives indoors. Me and my two bubbas have a hellava life running, eating, looking out the window at creatures and of course
sleeping together most of the time. Please think about it!!!!!
Frank says: As we've said a number of times, yes we are thinking about it.
To Franky and his owner, I've been watching your cat for ages and it looks painful and sore! I hope your cat heals soon! Get well soon franky from Diss high school

Hi Frank!
Greetings from Sweden. We hope you will get better
soon.
Hey Frank,
I am sending this message to you on behalf of my feline family of five. Joseph (the patriarch), Sister (the matriarch), Bear, LulaBelle and Doc
(their kittens). They would like to say "hang in there big guy! It may be a rough road to recovery, but it looks like you have a great bunch of humans taking care of you. And
we will think good, positive thoughts for your complete and speedy recovery."
Aren't they sweet? You will be in the thoughts and prayers of myself and my
husband as well Frank.
You're looking good!!!
All the best always,

Concerned to see you looking somewhat bored and down today Frank, perhaps Radio 1 is just not feline-friendly?!
Maybe the dogs could keep you company
(you in your recovery cage, them outside it but in the room with you)?
Hope you're up, out and about soon my furry chum.

Get well soon Frank, I remember when my cat Tricky had to be caged for six weeks when the ironing board fell on him when he was just 4 weeks old.
Dont
worry, when you are finally released you will be a superstar. Maybe you can start a 'Cat Idol' phenomenom and tour with other feline companions who have gone through
what you have.
Freedom is coming.
Frank says: Ironing board?? Poor soul
We hope you are feeling a little bit better today , we hope you are now on your way to a full recovery from David Church and the rest of his family .
Frank says: Thanks

Hi Frank,
I thought I would send you an email today - I'm the one who is usually out watching frogs when Ziggy Genni and Poppy send you messages. I'm in today
because its too wet even for the frogs. you seem to be getting better slowly - when your pelmut has mended a bit more you should ask David to ask Sarah your vet to
recommend a good osteopath. I have had something wonky about my back legs (which are very looooong Penny says) and have had some very successful homeopathy and
just recently some osteopathy. Julie does all sorts of funny things to my spine and back legs - I dont mind it at all and things do work much better now. I can 'dishmop' all
over the place and torpedo the others from under the sofa with must gusto these days. Penny and Roger (our 2 leggers) seem to enjoy this a great deal. Penny takes me to
Julie for my stretching - its nice havign 2 women doing my bidding - you should try it Frank! Julie also does stretching for horses and dogs, but she says she really likes
stretching me - is that a good thing do you think? She says Ive done really well - not hard really I just lay back and think of fish suppers.
Well Frank - we hope
we haven't added to the overload on your system - all those messages! from all over the world! Penny told friends and family in New Zealand and Australia about you a
couple of weeks ago when we first saw your picture - We all send you bit purrie meows and yowls and will do a bit of scratching furniture on your behalf. Do you want any
frogs from our pond? They arent for eating or anything but they do look very decorative in the water bowl.
lots of lurv from Jasper, Ziggy, Poppy and Genni in
Coventry =^..^=
Dont forget to trash your cage a bit more - thats what superstars do!
Frank says: Thanks for the tip, please don't worry about the messages, the more the merrier. As for the trashing, please don't worry :-)
Hi Frank,
Hope you're feeling ok. I've been poorly too (I had a prolaps bowel. Ouch!) I've been listening to Steve Wright on BBC radio 2. He's made me feel
alot better, maybe he'll make you feel better too.
Bye Bye. "Bilbo The Hamster"
Hi Frank
I'm getting my human to send this as I can't get to grips with the computer keyboard (in spite of lots of tries! xcvjoirsduf8oe9io;al;) Hope you're feeling
better. Being in a cage must be awful - no 10 o'clock mad half hours really possible the whole point of these is to make as big a mess as possible and pass on as fast as
possible, not be forced to sit in the chaos afterwards. Get well soon Jacob the ginger cat from Garston (near Liverpool)

Dear Frank,
I got the news of you from the report of our local Chinese newspaper in Taiwan, and I pass down the information that I have got from Internet to
my students. As I am an English lecturer, what has happened to you becomes a living text for me to use in class. Some of my students copy down the address of your
website. I believe more and more people will desire to know you and show their concern as I do now. May you be recovered soon.
With love,

Dear Sir
I work at the local paper for Woodgreen and I am interested in doing an article on the web-site for next week's paper. If you could e-mail me back
over the weekend with details of who would be the best person to speak to about it that would be great, and possibly details as to how it all came about.
Thanks

Hi Frank,
I love cats, so lovely and furry. My mum says I'm not old enough to own a cat yet but when i am I want one just like you, i think you're lovely.
Please get well soon Frank, I don't know what I'd do if you didn't pull through.

Hi Frank, you look very nice and I hope you'll be alright again soon. I had a tabby cat that was 22 years old when I had to take her to the vet for the last time - it is six
months ago today and I still miss her a lot.
There was a picture of you in a paper here in Denmark today with your address, get well. Best wishes, Inge

Hiya Frank
How's it swinging? Not so good eh ... When you're feeling up to it, give us a miaow and we can go gardening and stuff together. I'm sure you'll
have fun after being couped up for such a long time and you will do my street cred a power of good ... there's this black and white cat who looks like me who thinks he's the
cat's whiskers ...... you could let him know who the real Cat Idol is.
Speaking of which, mum and dad are going to see Pop Idol tomorrow ... (sad wotsits! they're
in their 40s - and talking about kidnapping a kid for the day so they don't stand out too much) do you want a programme or something??
Catcha later, chum
.......
Freddy (I know, I know, the name doesn't live up to the macho image I am trying to portray here!)
Frank says: Meow, if they are going to see Popidol they shoud love petidol (coming soon :-))
Hi Frank again..!!!
You are a beatifull and lovely cat. We see your picture before accident, and your eyes are so wonderfull. Venussy ( my cat) is very similar:
white and grey, with green eyes...and very soft. She only sleeps... and eats and some time scrathes the wall !!...
Don´t be a fraid...you will be O.K.
Lots of

Good Morning Frank! I live in Denver, Colorado and have fallen in love with you over the internet. I am a very pretty grey and white kitty like yourself. I was wondering if
you would be interested in a long distance kitty girlfriend once you recover? I am really cute....what do you say? Huerta Kitty xoxoxo
Frank says: Of course, it'll be great
FrAAAAAAAAAnk!
Hey - you are looking pretty snappy there boyo! Look, I feel I have to straighten up one thing... me afraid of a cat!? Surely you jest! That
neighbor cat just likes to saunter around on MY deck when I'm locked up in my house - I thought it would be fun to run around in HIS house to see how he would like it! I am
a little iddy bit afraid of my housemate Luna tho; when Astro plays with me (which is a lot), he keeps his claws in but Luna is all hiss and scratchy. Mom is always yelling
"Not the eyes! Not in the eyes!" whatever that means. So hey dude, I'm honest, right!? We sent pictures, but I guess everyone else did too and wants you to see them.
That's a fine problem for a confined cat-man. Must be a lot of work for your folks! The story of your recuers still inspires me and I am rescuing all my toys from the terrible
basket while re-enacting David and Alex's heroism. So Frank, I feel real friendly toward you because you have been an inspiration and a housemate of sorts! Hey, have I told
you how much I LOVE cat pooh!!?? Your JR pal, Jackie The Brat
Frank says: haha, a re enactment....brilliant. Sorry about the cat thing, what was I thinking....
Paola: Hi Frank, I saw you this morning you was slepping, this if very good for you soon recovery. Frank this weekend rest and continuos sleeping, take your

Hi Frank. I have a radio station suggestion for you. KLON, a Southern California jazz station you can listen to online at
http://www.klon.org/music/media_players/index.shtml
I'll be happy to send in a song request for you.
Frank says: Jazz, cool, we'll be there
Frankie-- I finally see you awake and moving about!!! You are such a beautiful cat! Love the shaved butt..... You look like my Mouchette. She's a 20 pounder with bright
red fur where you have gray and less stripes. If you got "bloated" like David suggested if you eat too much and lay around, M would love you. We just gotta deal with the 6
month quarantine for animals going into England. (Talk about being caged?) Check out KCSM 91.1fm, a jazz station from San Francisco, or KBLX 102.9fm which is R & B,
jazz fusion, soul-known as the Quiet Storm, another SF radio station. I check on you twice daily. Hang in there you'll be running and jumping for real soon!! xoxoxoxoxxo

Frank, I think you are the lovliest cat I have ever seen. I am a real cat lover - I am really in touch with my feminine side.
In fact, I think you are someone that
I could chat to about my problems.... I am sure you would be able to give me some advice.
I haven't been able to get a girlfriend for ages. I don't know what it is
about they don't like. I have a slight BO problem... do you think this could have something to do with it? I have lowered my standards now, and I am aiming for the more
battish looking girl, but still, no hope. What shall I do?

I am Donna - Kitty's human. She wants you to know that she feels for you. Kitty thinks you need some "Temptations" treats by Whiskas. They
always make her feel a bit better when she is feeling blue. She makes me throw them for her then she chases and attacks them - then she eats them.
Take care -

Hey Frankie!
I sure hope you're feeling better now that you've been pinned all up! When I was little we had a pug named Foofoo (he was so great! The
sweetest dog ever...) and he got hit by a car. I opened the front door and was calling him, (he had never gotten out into the front yard before, but our other dog had dug a hole
under the fence...) and he came to me, with his jaw completely broken. He was a brave little guy--he didn't cry or anything, and he let us pet him and kiss him before my dad
took him off to the veterinarian. Foofoo wasn't as lucky as you are. He died in my dad's arms that night. I really miss him--he was a great dog, and we all really loved him.
I'm so glad, though, that you are doing alright and will be back to normal soon! Keep up the good progress, Frankie!

Dear Frank,
I know how you feel.....I used to breed Maine Coon cats here in the USA, only to find myself hit by a tractor-trailer (t-boned) while bringing a
little kitten home from her final check-up with the vet. She was supposed to have gone to her new family that evening.
Well, I was sent by helicopter to a fine
hospital where I was pronounced dead twice, but brought back - all broken up like you were. But I made it - and you certainly are going to make it too.
I am so
sorry to say that the little girl kitten did not live through the accident, and I cannot forgive myself. It was the first and only time I did not seatbelt my cat carrier as I always
do
Frank says: Please don't blame yourself, glad you recovered...

Hi Frank, is the leg getting better? i hope so, You need to tell us what sort of music you listen to sowe can suggest the ight radio station. Did you get any valantine's
cards in Feb? GWVS Alex
Plzmake Frank listen to 104.9fm tomorrow between 3-5 coz that is the Stockport county station and we need all the support we can get even from cats! greg
Frank says: what do you mean 'even from cats...'
We know just what its like recovering from surgery & broken limbs, so just sit out your time and get well again Frank! We're glad that you were lucky enough to be
rescued after such a terrible accident.
Get well soon,
Roy & Anne Pallett
and Garfield (the one-eared cat).
Soham, Cambs.
Hallo again, sweet Frankie! Thinking of you and hope you feel better. I´ve told my friends about you and many of them will write to you. Do you have to be in your cage all
the time, or can you get out any time? Love from Marita Åberg, Västerås, Sweden
Frank says: I can get out for a few minutes a day, as long as I don't jump about
Frank looks like he could do with a bit of rock and indie to help him recuperate.
We suggest Xfm...hopefully Frank can get it where he is!
Frank, Sweetheart
We had a small moglet who had a similar operation and, believe me, it's traumatic for Mummy and Daddy. Cilla (because she's black,
and we didn't name her) is doing really well now. It's been a bit of a hard slog, but I'm sure she knows where you're coming from. She's nicely tucked up in her radiator bed
and is as happy as Larry - this will be you soon, I promise. Take care and lots of love
Della and Chris
I think you should listen to Heart 106.2 or Danny Baker on London Live, however, he might not be as sympathatic as Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2. I will ask
Jonathan to play "Stray Cat Strut" because that's what you should be doing very shortly. Take care. You're a poppet! (Sorry, very sad, had bad news and want you to be
happy) xxxx
Frank says: That Ross man will not play anything cos he cannot say Frank :-)
You sweet little thing - sweet dreams - see you tomorrow again. Love from Marita, Sweden
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery from Sooty and Sweep from 'The Travels Of Sooty and Sweep'

If frank gets bored he can pop to the net and see the pictures of Sooty and Sweeps pets.
May your
wiskers be straight and your eyes bright!
All the best

Hello Frank,
I've been following your progress and am pleased to see the improvement in you.
I would just love a cat like you, but there would be a terrible
conflict of interest as I also love birds, lizards, whopping great German Shepherds, etc. So I have to make do with being a proxy cat owner, 'adopting' everyone else's
moggies! Wasn't it nice to learn the identity of those wonderful cat-lovers, David and Alex, who rescued you from a horrible end?
You now grace my computer screen
and brighten my day, adding the 'feel-good' factor that does my heart good. Pity I can't hear your voice, but we can't have everything, can we? Best wishes for your continued
recovery. With hugs, strokes and purrs, Aunty Mary
We suggest you tune into Three Counties Radio (95.5FM) tomorrow at 3pm to listen to live commentry of Luton Town v Kidderminster. Listening to all those Luton Town
goals is bound to cheer you up Frank! Best wishes. Ripley & Figo send their love.
Dear Frank,
yuor cousin Mika is with you!!
Dear Frank

Frank says: Yes I did, thanks
Hello Frank,
Do you know which Sunday paper you will be in yet? You see our mum has told our grandhumans about you and they don't have access to the
internet. They would love to hear more about you from the newspaper, but they send love and cuddles anyway. Glad to see you have a new blue mouse. We have a stripey
one which is quite fun, but real ones are better (just not when humans are around). Do you like catnip? We love it. Love and purrs. Mag and Nunc.
Poor Frank, do you get lots of kissesand cuddles from those nurses? You make sure you get all the love and attention you need, eat good food and soak up all those
good vibes, Love Kat and the cats!

Hello Frank
You have had a busy day sleeping - I noticed that you had got a present in the post with lots of nice things. You deserve them all! Being sick is
not nice and being cooped up when you are a cat is even worse!
I hope that you are feeling better and that you will be out of the cage soon - I have been yowling
for your feedom.
Cat freedom
Lots of love and best wishes

Shoe Gemma
Get well soon Frank!
& now a message for your carers/feeders/slaves:
Oi, Donnan! What are you doing? Do you remember me? Of course
you do, we were at school together, & last time we met at some sort of school reunion (around, ooh 1995?) we had an odd end to the evening, with me, you, Allan James &
Adele McAdam...? We were both surprised to find we both lived in Cambridge - I've looked out for you in the St Radegund, but not seen you yet - to be honest I don't get up
there too often these days. Let me know what you're up to. I got married (to Lisa) last August. Live in Vinery Road. Got a cat too - Blue
BTW - I had sort of
heard of Frank, but only realised it was you when I heard Johnny Walker (oops, R2 listening) mention you last week. He pronounced you David Dough-nan, but I sort of
guessed. Saw your picture in the paper too, blast from the past or what!
I'll send you a picture of Blue for the site, as soon as I get some new batteries for my
camera.
Cheers
James
Frank says: I'll contact you offline, I feel a beer coming on..
Greetings from the Other Side,
I sent you my a couple of days ago - I hope you were impressed and inspired! By the way, what happens when you're
recovered and out of the cage? Will you still make guest appearances on the webcams?
Thinking of you, Floss the British Blue.
Frank says: Petidol
Well Frank - you seem to be a nocturnal cat - during the day sleeping, and now at 23:00 - washing yourself - even if you can't get out to see the lady cats!
Take care puss
Adene
Frank says: I know, I have to be clean
Ello you! Get well soon Frank. I will send you a picture of me in a few days. Love, Arthur xxx
Frank says: ok
Hi, Frank!
You should give Radio Paradise a listen. They bill themselves as "eclectic, intelligent rock." Sounds like it would suit you to a T, and maybe
they'll play "Stray Cat Blues" by the Rolling Stones for you! http://www.radioparadise.com/
Take care,
Jen
CALLING ALL MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS OF THE FELINE KITTY PATROL....Frank has escaped from the Hospital and is on the Loose....That is!!
