Messages to Frank - 13th March, page 2
Hello Buddy how you feeling today?
Where did you slink off to around 4.30pm yesterday - for a few tasty titbits I'll bet!
I managed to scrounge a nice piece of cod from my humans last night and very tasty it was too!
I'll be popping in to see you throughout the day, although if yesterday's anything to go by you like your sleep as much as I do!

Helo Frank please take care on the roads, we lost our cousin, Lady, when he (my mum and dad got his sex muddled up - pre visit to vet--) got run over. I was born to feral parents so I have pretty good road sense, my friend Wolfie a big Felix looka like was also a stray kitten so he is pretty good on the roads. Our neighbours lost a kitten called Pepsi and his brother Tango is recovering from a hit and run so there is plenty of danger out there, people should drive slower in built up areas. My mum really enjoys looking at you and reading all the info and messages Take care licks, purrs and miaows from Smokie and Wolfie
Hi Frank,
Hope you get well soon,
I think you are a very cute and cuddly kitty!
Love Laura
Hello again Frank,
glad to see you're moving about today - wow, you're actually vertical and everything :-)
our humans have lots of fish, which we like to look at, and we were wondering if you wanted to watch them too?
our humans have a web cam and something called ADSL, but they're a bit more stupid than you're humans, so they don't know how to put the fish on the internet.
Maybe you could ask your humans to send us one of those emails, telling us how to let you see our fish?
We purr for you every day,
asia, casphar, pilchard, crumpet, muffin.... and of course the fish.
Frank says: have a look at the how this site works link on the website
Hi Frank
It's Mutley & Hemingway here from Nottingham. Our mom has told us how much better you are looking - it sounds like you are keeping your humans busy!! We caught a big spider for you :-) but Hemingway ate it and then was sick on the rug - ha ha. Mom said he could have been sick on the wooden floor but the rug is more fun as we can then watch mom clean it up!! Keep up the good work - sleeping is the best thing in the world. In fact it's time for us to now crawl under the duvet on mom's bed as she has gone to work - might as well have a kip. Take care - by the look of all your messages loads of people (feline and human) have their paws crossed for you. Love & purrs Mutley & Hemi x x
Frank says: they have wooden floors here, cos the dogs make such a mess

take the laptop out of the cage - Frank wants to sleep!
Frank says: You people, wake up Frank, gor to sleep Frank. Make yur minds up. And the laptop wa only in there for a few minutes and there was lots of space for me to sleep!
Well done Frank! Have been most impressed re your efforts to escape cage. I was incarcerated myself last year for the best part of 6 weeks due to moron shooting me with air rifle and I also have a bit of titanium holding leg together.
Would like to suggest following tips for successful escape (although your own efforts to annoy/irritate vastly amusing I have to say).
Plaintive meowing (particularly at 3.00 in the morning). Try sharpening claws on side of cage (again during hours of darkness always achieves results). The whole litter tray thing appears to be working well, however, can I just suggest a few more extra details. Try using the tray every hour (tricky this one; needs work on bladder/bowel control, but very effective). Want a bigger area to poop/pee in? Balance on edge of tray, carefully shifting weight until tray tips over and litter cascades out. Priceless.
Feign snoozing when changeover required, then dash upstairs under marital bed (floor usually littered with slippers, magazines, and 'other interesting items'.....). Allow at least one half hour of freedom before they can eventually reach you.
If all else fails, start tunnelling (3 always seem to be the optimum number in these cases - guaranteed you won't have reached B before they give in).
Best of luck Frank, and here's to your reclamation of the settee!
Raisin frae Glasgow

I was distrssed to hear about Frank's condition. I was even more upset when I saw the x-rays and it appears that they have left some metal in him. Does this mean he will have to undergo yet another operation to remove them and another recovery?

Hi Frank were the Boys in the Basement. We were sorry to hear about your accident. We tune in daily to read about you and look at you on the cam. We really wish you a speedy recovery. Why cant people Paws for a thought as to cats well being? And to have left you like that is so in humane. Its so wicked and thoughtless. Having lost my Henry last year to a road traffic accident I know what its like.
Take care Frank.
Tony.

When you've got better, why don't you ask your human friends to keep this site going by featuring a new recovering cat. You could also add to it by having lots of "Where's my Cat?" pages, split up by region. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but I'm sure lots of people would help if you asked...
Goor morning, Frank! How are you today? Well, we hope. Our human told us a sad tale today about his cat Smokey, who was grey and white like you, and who was not so lucky when he got hit on the road. That was 25 years ago and he still misses his Smokey cat. So he`s pleased that he can watch you and see you getting better each day. Bye for now, must dash, got a lot of sleeping to do. Lots of purrs, Lenny the Cat from Bromley, and Charlie the Cat from Sawston.
Frank says: Sawston, just up the road

Great Idea - I did the same thing myself last year when one of my cats was hit by a car (with similar injuries - Broken Pelvis, internal injuries etc etc) , but I only told a few people about the url.... A great way of keeping any eye on my cat while I was at work. Hope frank is ok, and good luck with the site.
PS the site is still running at www.visis.co.uk/tigercam.htm (btw, the cats name is Tiger), but the webcam lens cover is on...doh!!!
I saw Frank in The Metro paper which is a free paper that is distributed in London. I just had to log on to see him and am glad that he is getting better.
Big kisses from my furry friends, Beau and Emmy.

Hi Frank, greetings from jolly Bristol!!

I'm at work at the moment, but I thought I'd "paws" to e-mail you my best wishes!
get well soon,

Checked the Website out after reading about it in METRO (free paper) dated 12 March 2002.
Hope Frank is ok - I have a cat and would be very upset if she was knocked over.
My little cat called Marley was run down last year and his pelvis was broken, they didn't operate but instead allowed it to heal naturally, he was confined to a cage for weeks, it was really sad, he was so depressed but I would go into his cage at nights to give him cuddles to cheer him up. He's now fully fit and doing all the fun things that he used to enjoy so this is just a message to let Frank know that there is hope and he should be back to his normal self in no time.
Franky,
I am not english so I will try and get my meesage across as best I can.
I tink that you are pretty little pussy, even though you don't do a lot... I believe that comes from hawing broke pelvis.
I like cats, I enjoy them much. We eat cats where I come from. You look tasty.
Hi Frank,
We hope you feel better soon.

Hello Frank
Were sorry to hear you're not well. Rocky is going in to be spayed very soon and is feeling a little bit grumpy. What would you suggest is the best thing to cheer up a pussy cat that is not feeling too great? Having been there yourself, what could we or our mum do to make Rocky smile??? Keep up the good work, Frank. Youre puurrrfect! xxx
Frank says: ouch poor boy
Hi Frank
I know how you feel. I nursed a little kitten through two hip/leg fractures on separate occasions. All you need now is a lot of love and TLC (AND NIBBLES OF COURSE!) Get well and be up and about chasing mice etc and all the things that keeps kitties buzzzzy! Cheers for now and greeting from my Scamp and Muffin
Hi Franky!
Saw an article in the London Metro (free paper we get on the tube) and wanted to wish you a speedy recovery. I have been enjoying watching you and although I have only known about your web site for 24hours you seem to have recovered a great deal - from what your owners and the vet say. You look fantastic and incredibly handsome cat.
All the best and lots of love
Andie Porter and Phil Ball from Stretham SW16
lookin' good buddy.. get well soon!!
Hi, Frank!
We thought we'd send you a message via one of "the humans" because we're so impressed with how you're coping with your "confinement".
We're not too keen on cars - especially when that mad-woman makes us travel in one to the vets!
We used to know the Cambridge area. We lived the wild-and-free life in Mildenhall. Cambs. Then some nice kind soul (not) caught us, and our mates in our stray-cat colony, and took us to the Blue Cross in Cambridge. We were there, in a cage, for nearly a year before our humans liberated us, and we moved to Ely - hurrah, freedom! Now we live in Bristol, and are enjoying the local wildlife there ... Ebony likes her food and a nice sleep, so she thinks she'd cope with cage-life better than Silver. He's younger, and fitter, and needs to run up and downstairs on a regular basis. Not being able to curl around the male-human's head during the night would be a problem - Silver does like purr and 'kneed' the human's neck to show his affection. The human responds by pushing Silver off the bed! Oh, well, back to work - got to chase those mice in our sleep...
Get Well soon,
Silver and Ebony
Frank
You are a very lucky little cat. Our neighbour's cat was ran over a couple of months ago...must have been on her 9th life, as she passed away due to her injuries. My puss Bobbin does not seem to have a lot of road sense either as he loves dashing in and out of parked cars!
We wish you all the luck in the world for a speedy recovery Frank. Love and meows Bobbin and Annabel XX
Hi Frank
Hope you feel better soon, I have a black cat called Cleo who knows exactly how you feel. She was ran over last year and unfortunately she had to have a back leg amputated. She is fine now though and is running around as fast as ever.
GET WELL SOON!!!
Get well soon Frank. Wogan was run over by a car last year too - and he was a very naughty boy being stuck in his cage all day for 2 months. He has now made a full recovery - although he does miaow pitifully on every occasion.
Wogan had a lot of fun biting, hissing and scratchign all the nurses that looked after him, and would only let his mummy come near him.
Wogey and Parkey wish you a full recovery.
Dear,
Frank I wish you get well soon you look really cute all curled up.I will keep on wrighting to you intill you get better.

Did you know there was an artical about Frank in the Metro, Tuesday March 12 2002 Page 6. They have a web site, www.metro.co.uk.

What a love you are but unfortunately a bit young for me but that's not going to stop me admiring you.
(I'm 17 years old; willing in mind - it is just the body that lets me down - I even struggle to get out of the cat door these days. Actually don't let on but between you and me, I don't try anymore and the umans have given me a litter tray. That's absolutley perfect as I now don't have to get wet and cold anymore. Wonder what will happen when the summer comes though; they might expect me to go out when they are out there too)
Tell those umans that it's OK to listen to radio but it's got to be Radio 2 especially Steve Wright as this is where you will be getting practically all your messages from now on. You were mentioned as the website of the day yesterday. (Unfornately I was asleep and didn't hear it myself - just heard the umans talking about it)
To save you trashing your cage - you wouln't need to if I was there to stroke your troubled head - have the 'umans' thought of providing you with a small TV/Video and to supply you with bird programmes or cartoons to watch.
Thats my favourite when the umans sit down in the evenings - and when I'm not quite tired enough to sleep.
I seem only to be able to manage on one hours waking at the moment. It is a really pain when you cant get awake isn't it. (Whats the opposite for insomnia?).
Well my handsome fellow - keep taking the medicine and I wish you a speedy recovery.
Love and purrssss from Bootszilla

Hi Frank,
We are 2 (female!) Russian Blues, we have looked at you on the webcam and we both think you are gorgeous. Frank - you are becoming famous in London. I read about you in The Metro (a free newspaper which is circulated throughout London) and I took a real shine to you. i have been watching you for most of the day (not that good in first week of new job). You don't seem to eat a lot which concerns me!
Hi Frank! We just discovered your site yesterday. We sure hope you'll be feeling better soon. We all used to be indoor/outdoor cats but our brother Pierre mysteriously disappeared and ever since then we've been strictly indoors cats. It's a little boring, but a lot safer. Maybe you'll think about staying safe indoors too when you're up and well again. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
>From four feline friends in the U.S., Lesley, Sylvie, Louie, and Fuzzy
will we not see you after the six weeks are up? I think you are lovely
Frank says: you might, if the camera can catch me :-)
Get some rest Frankie Boy, I bet you can't wait to get back chasing those pesky mice and birds.
Perhaps you could have a new career as a TV presenter, I'm sure you could do a better job than some humans!
Frank says: easy
Hello, hello there. Love your website and the fact that you are so dedicated to your kitty. Hope you are not offended but I was wondering....after reading your daily posting....I know you are letting Frank out for little jogs indoors and all but maybe Frank wants to be in your presence in his cage and not in his own little room when you are home. Maybe that is why he is mucking up his cage. Sorry if this does not apply... I can tell you love him and I wish you all loads of love and luck! My kitties send their regards as well!

I work in the brazilian news magazine ISTOE (www.istoe.com.br) and I´d like to receive a high resolution picture (300 dpi) of Frank in front of the cameras to publish a note about him and his hospital. Thanks a lot, Henrique Fruet

I hope you get better soon. If it's any consolation the weather outside is awful so you're not missing much staying indoors.
Should you need any company over the next few weeks then I would gladly offer you my step brother George (aka Evil), please let me know if you require his companionship and I'll get my people to talk to your people and arrange how I can get rid of him... I mean deliver his services to you.
Take care (perhaps someone should have told you to do that before now) and I'll be in touch soon.

Hi Frank,
You're looking in good shape. I hope you're back on top form soon.
Take care.

I'm glad Frank is on the mend.
It may sound horrible that whoever hit him did not stop but they may not even know. We lost one of our boys last summer, and we were the ones who ran him over. We felt the bump and stopped but he'd ran off. When we got back home the neighbours came to tell us he was on their drive. We were only gone 10 mins but he'd already left us.
What's new pussycat????

Hi Frank,
My parent's cat, Midnight, is so called because that was the time of day he was found injured in the middle of the road (and he is black). We assume he was an abandoned kitten, and was run over by a passing car. My brother found him after driving home from a friend's house and took him back to my parent's place. After some surgery and metal implants that Barry Shene would have been proud of he made a full recovery, and 11 years on is a still a fine, fit and active cat. So, take heart from Midnight's triumph over the odds and all the best for a full recovery!
Yours

Hi Frank!
I was at an Institute for Public Relations seminar this week at the Kensington Roof Gardens and was told all about you and your adventures! Do you realise just how famous you are? Dearest Frank,
I have prayed on your behalf to the Christian God and put a fluffy kitty toy ball rubbed with Catnip on my little Buddhist alter for you.
I am recovering from an emergency lumbar disectomy (removal of a fully herniated disc in my lower back) right now so I think I can relate pretty well to your pain and frustration.
Please think soothing thoughts, rest all you can, and know that were I not in another country thousands of miles away I would come by and pat you anytime.

Today was published a little note about Frank in the most important newspaper here in Chile, my country. Therefore, it also was reproduced in the website of the paper:www.emol.com , then el mercurio and internet, all in spanish.
Hi Frank,
So sorry to see you are not well! I used to be a homeless moggy until a lovely young couple gave me a home. Now I am much loved and snuggle up
every night with them in bed. My parents have taught me not to stay inside at night and not mess about with cars. I have just celebrated my 11th birthday with a huge tin of cocktail prawns...you should try them...YUMMO. Hope you get better soon. Thinking of you! Rufus xo
Dear Frank,
What a terrible mess you have landed yourself. I am a New York City cat and don't have the danger of moving vehicles except when the lift operator, Jose, takes me for a ride. I did have some Mouse excitement a few years ago but the superintendent made them all move out. Those Humans don't appreciate good clean fun!
Get well soon and be more careful when you cross the street from now on. Best wishes, Dylan
Hi Frank! This is Hallman. I'm Mary's cat. I just had a stay in the hospital for four days, I can't imagine staying longer. Yuck. I had laser surgery on my gums and had two teeth removed. I have to eat mush for four weeks. I sure feel better now. My mouth was really sore. I could barely eat or meow and I hid out a lot. It was embarrassing. I'm doing much better now, I just got home today. I'm really glad to be here. I hope your recovery is a good one. Your web buddy, Hallman
I send Frank well wishes from California...Frank looks like he might enjoy listening to some real Conservative American political commentary...I suggest that you tune into KSFO.com and let Frank listen to The Lee Rodgers Show....Times are between 5:00 AM & 9:00AM Pacific Standard Time.
Good luck and stay away from moving vehicles.
Earthlink's newsletter gave us the link to your site. Sorry Frank about your horrible accident. If I could I'd send you a ball of yarn and some fresh catnip. Wishing you continued healing; with hopes you will be up and running really soon in PURRFECT condition. Lenoir, North Carolina, USA
Hi Frank! We're writing again.
We are in La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. We are so happy to read the messages sent to you from around the world.
If cat lovers ran things, there would be so little distress in the world, for we all know the value of a stroke and a purr, and that hissing does the trick (no need to actually resort to blows) most of the time.
Hello to all who send and read Frank's messages!
Love,
Siegfrieda, Parsifal, and me, Liz, the human.
Dear Frank,
My name is Jeremy and I live with my sister Monty and our human Ginny in North Carolina,USA. I'm almost 8 yrs. old but everyone thinks I'm 2. My human,(she's my mommy-even if she's a human),saw about your website in her Earthlink newsletter. She decided to look at it. I tried to write to you myself, but mommy said that I was just walking on the keyboard,so she agreed to type for me. I hope you get better! I was very very sick when mommy first came to adopt me. I was 5 1/2 weeks old. The people at the animal shelter called her on the day she was coming to bring me home and told her that they would give her her money back because I was so very sick. Mommy asked them if I could be made better. She then told them that since I could be made better, she wasn't going to leave me there- that I really needed a home. I went to some place called The Vet. They hurt me with a needle and told mommy to put this thing called a pill down my throat 2 times a day for 10 days! I let her do it because I'm the one who decided at the shelter that she should be my mommy. My new sister didn't like me at first. Its been almost 8 years now, and we're a happy family. I know you have a happy family too. It will be a happier family when you can go back home! Please don't go near anymore cars - know I know why mommy doesn't let us outside.
Get better soon! Love, Jeremy :-)
Hello Frank. Hope you're feeling better. The people in your life must care for you greatly. Thank you for letting all us folk visit you online while you are mending. Surely the cat-goddess Bastet smiles upon you. Good kitty.

Dear Frank,
I hope you're being treated well during your stay
in hospital, and that you'll be out soon, good
as new. The world hasn't felt like a very
friendly place, lately, and we need cats like
you to remind us about the simple things in life
which are the most important. Affection. Quiet
companionship. Gentleness. Simplicity.
Playfulness.
I'm grateful you're still with us. I'm sure the
people who take care of you feel the same way.
I'll certainly think twice tonight about how
fortunate I am that my cat, my friend, my
companion is still with me. And you and your
family will certainly be in my prayers.
Much love,
Doug (and Samson)
Hello Frank,
I'm very sorry to hear about your accident.
I'm a little older than you; I'm 7, but like you, I am tabby and white, and like sleeping on beds, so I feel we already have a lot in common.
You certainly need lots of rest, so get better soon, and I'll save one of my special purrs for you.
Lots of love,

I read about your ordeal in a Swedish (!!) newspaper this morning and thought I had to visit. So here I am! I hope you are feeling better and that you will get well soon. We have a webcamera at work. However, ours is not as "upclose and personal" yours. Hi Frank,
Hey, we're name buddies! My step-brother Gonzo and step-sister Lulu were found in a rubbish container - unbelievable what people can do, eh? I was lucky - I was born in haystack in a nice farmer's barn in Purmerend. Now we all live with Sandy and Ad in Boskoop, in Holland. Cheer up, mate, not long to go.
Cheers, Franky the ginger tabby
I am so glad to see you are healing so well, Frank. I am Bertie Wooster's human, Deirdre. I live in San Diego, California, across the pond. Not many of my fellow countrymen 'get' Bertie Wooster's name. I would hope more people in the UK have read PG Wodehouse or have seen the classic tv series. Anyway, Bertie and I are sending our best wishes for your continued and speedy recovery.
Lots of love from the States,

Dear Frank,
Don't worry, you'll be well soon. Almost two years ago, my poor 15 year old son was hit by a car. . .then about 6 months ago, our cat, a black domestic shorthair, was hit by a car. . .evidently our family has very bad luck and I'm nervously waiting my turn now.
Both our son and our kitty have made excellent recoveries.
Cheers and the best to you.
Martha, TX, USA
Hi Frank
My mum and dad told me all about you - I hope you are feeling better. I just hate going to the Vets but I think it is travelling in the car that is the worst part - I get so upset and in such a mess it's just not right for a girl to be in such a mess! I expect you are getting bored but hey take the chance to chill out and think about all new kinds of michief to get up to when you are 100% well. I know that you listen to the radio and my mum and dad leave Jazz FM on for me during the day (I don't go out because I think I am the Greta Garbo of the cat world and anyway I am scared of other cats) and Jazz FM is one cool station to listen to for an obvious cool dude like you, you should give it a try recommend Robbie Vincent from 7 t 10 in the morning during the week or Dave Koz 8-10 on Saturday.
Frank, I think you are one cool looking dude and I hope you get better soon. My mum will keep me updated on your progress but I am sure that you will soon be out there walking the walk and talking the talk.
Miaow, purr, Miaow for now

Hi Frankie
We are so excited, we had a brilliant idea in the night and we wanted our Mum to mail you straight away. She was asleep, we tried waking her with the gentle paw tap, that didn't work even a paw tap with nails extended didn't, (she could sleep for England) we had to turn our attentions to Dad, boy did we get him. Did you know if you jump on your Dads lap with talons out, they leap up straight away!!! It was a waste of energy though, stupid man doesn't know how to use the computer!! (we are definately trading him in) Sorry, we have wandered from our idea - come and recupurate here with us. We live by the seaside, we have a garden full of mice and a cupboard full of our favorite food. We could all have a ball. We would make sure that you weren't bothered by the media or groupies.
Anyway think about it Frank, the offer is open-ended.
We love you Frank -

Hey, Frank - how did you do that?
I was wathcing you when you just suddenly disappeared! Was it a Star Trek style "beam up", or have you learned to disapparate? That would be a good way to escape from your cage, mister. I guess it could have been humans using that other magical invention - hands - and lifting you out of your cage. You look good this morning, honey. When you're there.

MARRIAGE PROPOSAL FOR FRANK:
Right, here's the score. I wrote to you yesterday (Cleo, going out with Leo) and asked you out on the town. Don't listen to all those second rate cats, especially the other Cleo- she's just a slapper that has to get her mummy, Miranda, to speak for her. I've dumped Leo as he was scruffy, and does not have your good looks. I'm a little bit tubby, but I'm the girl for you (grey and white too, with pretty green eyes). Come and share my cat basket when you're better..... please!!!

FRANK'S NEW MEDIA SOURCES
Dear Frank:
Hope you're doing better.
Since you're a Brit, I include background information on the media arms where you are making a splash in the news here in the USofA.
Earthlink is an internet provider in the U.S.A.. They send out a weekly newsletter and guess what, Frank, you're the Weird Web Page this week!
Also your situation was announced on KNX-1070AM news radio in Los Angeles, California this morning. (Tuesday, 12 March, 2002) The radio station is owned and operated by the media-giant CBS which gives your story a certain amount of credibility.
Congratulations on making the big time. Don't get hit again to keep your new-found notoriety afloat.
..AND STAY OUT OF THE STREETS, DOOFUS!
Hope you're out of the cage soon.

We are three rescue cats who now have our two owners looking after us very nicely - we wish you a healthy recovery and look forward to saying hello to you every day on the webcam. K, P and M too
Frank,
I know how frustrating it is to be stuck in a cage for days (or in your case, weeks). I've had a spell of hospitilisation myself recently as I've developed Inter unrinary tract disease and had to have a cather fitted for 4 days. Most uncomfortable and undignified. Still I'm out and about again now as I'm sure you will be too soon.
Just remember to take it easy to start off with so your humans give you lots of cuddles and treats!
best wishes
Bentley
we read about you in yesterdays paper we hope you are getting well and feeling better.

Get well soon!
Meow Frank,
Our names are Indie & Pepper and we hope that you get well soon. Our Mummy doesn't let us out because our big brother Fluffy got knocked down & she is scared that that will happen to us - though she does pick us up and take us outside to sniff the fresh air (puuurrr). Hello Frank, my name is Piknik and my Brother is Fida, we are originally from Turkey but now live in the North of England. In January I was hit by a car and wasn't found by my owner for six days. When I was taken to the Vet she didn't think that I had broken my pelvis but I had damaged my back end, it was very painful and I couldn`t walk very well or jump at all!! My owner went to Tenerife in February which meant Fida and I had to go into Kennels, I was there for ten days and because of the rest I have made a good recovery and can now jump onto the bench in the kitchen and get my daily brush by my owner. I hope that you are feeling better soon. Lots of Love, Piknik and Fida :o)
Dear Frank.

My mum read about you today and after telling me, I desperately wanted to get in touch with you. What a horrific accident...it's really good your are recovering that well. We...me, my brother Sebastian the fat one, and my human mum and dad...are living in Swedens third biggest town Malmö and because we're living in a big flat we don't go out. But that's good because I like it better indoors. It's to smelly, noise and messy outdoors...I tried a couple of times but it just makes me nervous, even worse for my brother Sebastian the fat one and I'm the bravest. Anyway, get well and hopefully if I'm lucky you might write back to me one day. You're such a darling and we do have the same hobbies...sleep and eat... By the way....my mun have sent you a picture of me and my brother today to "your pictures" so you can see how I look.
Much love Ruth
Frank says: thanks, I'll be getting back to you
Hi Frank,
Hope u r feeling fine today!
I am a bit disappointed with your human since
my yesterday's message is not shown in the list of
march 12th...
But: can we trust humans ??
Love from Luxembourg
Frank says: no you cannot, sorry about the messages
Krya på dig Frank!
I have a home page http://home.bip.net/inger.h/
Saw a VERY cute picture of you in the Metro newspaper yesterday (Tuesday 12-3-02). I cut it out and stuck it on my monitor at work, but a colleague who hates cats crumpled it up. I'm going to download more pics of you, though, and pin them up round the back where they can't be seen by anyone except me.
Hope you feel better soon
Love Ross

About you in a swedish newspaper on the internet and a big article in the real paper too!
Key 103 - Manchester radio station
Radio 4 - great audio books and radio plays. Nice for an afternoon snooze Radio 2 - Johnny Walker
Dear Frank,
my name is Isabella, and i have read in a swedish newspaper about you and youre unfourtunate accident! I really hope that everything is just going to be fine, you have a lovely ”master” wich really cares for you! He shows the hole world how much he loves you. And i understand him totally!! :-) I have three lovely cats myself, named Asterix, Simba and Selma. They have so much fun sometimes, i just look a them and enjoy myself! Selma was unfoutunate a abused and badly burned straycat, she nearly died.... But i took her to my home, and the remedy was LOVE, LOVE and LOVE. Ofcourse a lot of food and calmness too. :)) Today they are like the three musceteers. Selma is so happy today, she speaks a lot. We speak a lot actually.... It is very rewarding to se them living life to a 100%.
A house is not a house without a cat!!
All our love to you, Frank!
Best Regards Isabella, Asterix, Simba and Selma
Dear Frank
I have been watching you on and off all morning whilst at work (you are compulsive viewing). You do seem a lot chirpier today, moving around a lot, but please do keep in view as I get a bit worried when I tune in and your cage is empty.
Susan
I think that Frank should listen to Jazz FM it will soothe you and help you to relax.

How about listening to radio 4's afternoon play? When I get time off during the week I love listening to it but I don't know how much he'd understand and it's got no music so might get a bit boring.
Anyway, get well soon Fank!
Hey Frank, keep on keepin' on with the recovery. Here's the url to a little thing my boyfriend put together which might cheer you up:

We're thinking of getting a nice fluffy kittie of our own soon, and keeping your webcam on my desktop reminds me I have to phone the rescue centre/landlord/vet etc. and sort out all the arrangements!
What, you were listening to cable and you turned off, the only time you are allowed to turn off is between 12 and 2 when wicked mickey is on!! Please turn cable radio back on as we value your cats listenership, i dont mean to MILK the situation but it would be a CATastrophy if you did not return to the cable radio web site, www.cableradio.co.uk

Dear Frank,
My name is Millan a old Aby and I feel for you! I read an article about you in the southern Swedish largest newspaper - you didn't make front page but last page of the first section! Get well so and I'll check on you in the next couple of weeks
Sleep tight!!
Millan (aby 15 yrs. old)
Hey Frankie!!
Looking good, mate! I cannot believe the number of people who have sent you messages complaining that you 'don't do very much'. Someone even asked if you could be 'prodded' so you'd be more interesting to watch!! "What is the matter with these people?? Don't they realise that a cat spends 70% of it's life asleep even before it's been sedated to recover from a bone shattering accident? I bet they wouldn't like being cooped up in a hospital feeling all tired and injured and their relatives and friends coming to visit them and they start poking and prodding them because they aren't doing enough to keep the visitors 'entertained'! You take it easy mate!!
Your blind pal, Baldrick
Frank says: cheers balders
Frank is starring in an article in Swedens fourth biggest daily newspaper Sydsvenska Dagbladet today. He even has his portrait on the front page of the homepage. http://sydsvenskan.se
Frank you look a little uncomfortable this morning with the laptop in the cage with you - are you OK? Miaows and Purrs from Bagel, Ketchum and Dan xx
Frank says: yes I'm having my picture taken
Frank!!
Why the laptop? You look very excited about it!
Start e-mailing and your online chats soon!!
Nesbit, UK.
Frank says: maybe in the papers again soon
Frank,
I feel very sorry for you. Is is possible that maybe your cage could go outside on the patio for a couple of hours so that you can smell the spring flowers? I think you look a little depressed today. Chin up!!
How big is your cage anyway, get the lap top out so you can have room to do some feline stretches.
Love Joan & Rosanna xoxoxo
Frank says: it's only been there for 5 minutes!
Ummm just wondering if you are still alive or if you are just a stuffed cat. You have not moved in 3 days. Are they drugging you? Do you need help? Two meows means yes, no meows means no.
ps if they are drugging you are you enjoying the drugs?

Hi Frank,
We're a couple of frisky felines from south-east London who normally like to spend our waking hours eating and scratching the hell out of the sofa, but since we found your brilliant site we've been glued to the PC. Guess what, our human master says you're going to get a mention in Guy Kewney's IT Week column next week - how cool is that!
Get better soon, dude
