Messages to Frank - 4th March
Nighty, night Frank. Sweet dreams and God bless. Charlie,Tabs and Spider XXX. ooops I suspect I should have read that last night..
Hi from Canada Frank. So sorry to read about your plight. Britian our fury feline friend sends his best wishes for your speedy recovery as do we all. Best wishes. Thanks
Hello, We heard about Frank via the news on TV, and send all of our best wishes, and hope he is making a speedy recovery. MOJO (2 yrs, moggy. Seems to have same habbits and
lifestyle to FRANK!) was also very concerned and expressed his worry with a short, sharp meow! Get well soon THanks MOJO, you take good care you hear ??
Dear Frank, Shay and Cat were quite ticked that I didn't include them in the last message. Shay just saw you and she meows, "Get well soon". She and Cat are both tabbies...Shay
is grey and black, Cat is marmalade.Cat hasn't seen you yet as she is a recent addition to our home. She was abandonded and when we found her, her collar had rubbed off all her fur
and she had fleas. She is much better now...her fur has grown back and the fleas are gone...Shay wants to know what's a flea?...but poor Cat hasn't gotten brave enough to explore the
whole house yet. I told her your story in the hopes that it would give her some courage. Seuss says hello and he wants you to know he hates fish too. Just so I don't get into more
trouble...Missie and Cubby (dogs) said they hope you're up and around soon. Marjorie and the "furkids" Tsk, tsk fancy forgetting about your cats....
Hi Frank! Toby, Weegie and I are so glad to see you're recovering so well. My mommy won't let me or my brother or sister outside because of cars and mean dogs. She won't let us
out of her sight! Maybe it will be a good idea if you stay inside from now on. Sure, being inside all the time gets a little boring, but we're always safe and never sick. And when mommy
lets us go out onto the screen porch to watch the birds and squirrels, it makes it all worthwhile! We're all thinking of you and wish you a speedy recovery! But you forget I am the
master of escapes, not jail can hold me..hahahahaha
Dear Frank, Greetings from New York. Get well soon. We say a prayer for you every night for a speedy recovery. You're a very handsome cat, by the way. Do you meow with an
English accent? I promised my Babyface I'd ask that question for her. Take care Love Toni (kittymom)Bunky, Babyface and Casey Good question from the cat in New York.., yes I
do Meow with an English accent, have you heard of Terry Thomas ??? Wel I speak like him, I sort of say Me-ow.
Hi, Frank: Hope you had a good weekend. I couldn't see you on Friday, as there were problems with your webcams, but when I tuned in tonight ( Sunday late, US time), I noticed the
last pix of you showed you looking rather perky. Prrrrrrts and meeoows from Misha, Sparky, Tabby, and Oliver. Haven't checked my e-mail yet, but I saw something about an attempted
escape? You must be feeling better! I was out and home free I tell you, until I noticed a person, I only went over for a stroke and they put me back in the cage (after a stroke)
Hey Frank.I am very happy that you are getting better every day.Rita from Belgium with love. Thanks Rita
Good morning Frank, hope you are feeling better. I will see Mrs Donnan at school and ask how you are. And I'm feeling much better thankyou
Doughnut, my little ca, says Get well soon ! Thanks doughnut and Peter
Hi Frank, so sorry to hear about your accident. I had to go to the vet myself last week with a abcess on my tail, thats nothing to what you have been through.Anyway I send all my love to you from here in New Zealand. Cleo the cat. I dunno Cleo a sore tail sounds pretty bad..hope you are ok now
Hi Frank I know you were listening to 102.7 Hereward FM on Friday - I was watching you. It really is the best station and we all sent requests to Helen to play for you including the Stray Cats, What's New Pussycat, Atomic Kitten, I Saw a Mouse, Where? - There On The Stairs and Cool For Cats. I have passed your details on to eveyone here where I work - oh did I tell you I work at Hereward FM? Have a good day. Clare X err no you did not, but thanks anyway :-)
Let the cat listen to us - at least it will stay awake! Gunny Breakfast Show www.972strayfm.co.uk Ok later this week, I bet you £50 I sleep through half of the show!
Hi Frank, I just wanted to say what a brave cat you are and how impressed I am that you are doing so well recovering from your terrible accident. Tigger, Hooli and Gracie send purrs and headbutts from Brighton. Also, Gracie has rather a crush on you (much to the amusement of Tigger and Hooli!!) and wonders if she could have an autographed photo? Best wishes,
Cathy Brighton, East Sussex. Now that is something I have not been asked before, I'mm sure I can do something, send my your address..
I know its unsual for dogs to send emails to cats, but I and my brothers (Ted and Fred - Tibetan Terriers) would like to wish you better. How humans can leave us animals to suffer like that makes me mad. Luckily we have owners who take good care of us and love us lots.
I was 16 last week and had 3lb sausage and a 1lb of liver - I hope you get lots of your fav food to help you on your road to recovery. Love and Licks from Frankie the Cross Collie Freddie and Teddie the tibbies xxx 3lb of sausage, you luck thing..
Morning Frank! Great to hear from you and to know you're feeling better each day. It must be frustrating sitting that cage all day when you'd rather be bouncing round the garden, chasing the local wildlife. I guess it's a bit like being on Big Brother, all these people peering in at you at all hours. Be patient and keep taking the medicine. Lots of luv, Yes just like Big Brother, that flippin Davina never give me a minutes peace!
Hope you get better soon.
Hi there lovely Mr frank the cat, my friend Suzi has a bad hip too, she did her's on Saturday night when she fell over a bit drunk at the Quayside, so know that you must be feeling a little blue, don't worry you will get better soon, here's a big kiss for you to make you feel happy again... X Lots of love and strokes Helen.. Oh and by the way my two cats said to say Meow.. xxxxxxx Poor old Suzi, has she had a pin? she can borrow mine
Hi Frank , its Alice again. Very pleased to hear that you are feeling better. Having been in your situation I do appreciate how bored you are, and how a young cat about town needs to get out there but please heed my words of warning and stay cool because it was escaping and walking too soon which gave me my wobble/wiggle. So bide your time and emerge from your incarceration a perfect purrson. Keep fooling your humans though, they need to be kept on their toes. Love from Alice Oh yes, they are on their toes
wake/wakerise and shine franki you will be out of jail soon I hope so
Hi to Franks Mum and Dad! I just wanted to say that I think this is a fantastic idea!
I would absolutely love to have cameras on my cats when I'm not around - just to sneak a peak into their own world!! Anyway, it's just nice to see someone else who cares for their cat so much. I read Franks tale on Pet Planet, poor boy but I'm glad he's on the mend. He is a beauty too - looks like a really sweet boy. I hope all goes well with his recovery - best wishes, Lisa. Thankyou Lisa, as you can see from Franks webcams, cats liek to sleep!
Hello Frank, I hope you are beginning to feel better. I've 2 cats and they send their ''hello's'' to you, too! My friends say 'hi!' as well, and so does Chris's cat! And Sarah's! Wow - all these cats saying hi! You are very privilaged! Well best go, take care! Luv Ruthie xx Blimey thats a lot of hellos..hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello I think I got everyone
Hi Frank. Hope you are still making a good recovery. I hope you didn't mind me having a look at your x-rays this morning, but my cat Purdy has also been involved in a road accident and I was curious to see your results. His accident was a while ago and he has made a splendid recovery. He has asked me to send you an intense stare and said that you would understand! Best wishes from us all. The Aston Mob The X-rays are there to be looked at, thanks for the stare here is one back
Hi Frank, Heard about you from a friend in the Gambia! We live in (yes, you've guessed it) Belgium! We have 2 cats; Daniel and Katy. They were born in Bedford (where we come from) and are settling in to life in Belgium. We love animals and have budgies, cockatiels and a dog called Gizmo who loves cats too. They all moved to Belgium with us in September 2000!
It looks as if you're recovering well from a very nasty accident. Some people fail to stop when they hit a cat but you are tough little things and can make miraculous recoveries!
Hope you're soon back to full health! Please give Frank a stroke from us. Ha you people in Belgium are great..Thankyou
Hello Frank-heard about u on the radio (your famous!!) Hope you get better real soon and get lots of treats!! Lv kirsty* Thankyou

Hi Frank! I heard about you from the Petlplanet newsletter, and would like to wish you all the best. How many lives left now?!? Bella and Gershwin also send you their best. Incidentally, the Swedish message you received today from Salvador and Elsa says 'Get well soon'. - Tina, Bella and Gershwin xxx Thanks for that
Hi Frank, You are looking better every day. I hear you escaped from your cage! I got outside the other night and stayed outside for 12 hours. Finally I showed up at 6am. When I came in I got lots of hugs and a big bowl of my favorite food. I don't know what all the fuss was about, but I'm planning my next escape right now. They will never be able to keep me inside! Hahahaha! Haha Free the Trumpington one!
Tommy, Zippy, Emma, Mojo, Tikka and Tango (and us) would like to wish you a speedy recovery. I (Julie) came out of hospital myself just two hours ago, and even though I was only there for four days I know how frustrating it is - like being in prison (I suppose...) Our cats don't have free access to roads so that's one fear we don't have. I lost too many when I was a child so I'm a bit neurotic about it. Our garden is cat-proofed with netting overhangs on the fences. Actually the strong winds have damaged it but it's still proving a psychological barrier because they're so used to not jumping over the fence that they haven't realised. Think of your remaining 8 lives next time, Frank. Love, the Grundys and their 6 cats, Ashton in Makerfield, Lancashire. Nets eh...hmm if they put those up I'm going to use them to trawl for fish!
Hi, Frank, you little sweetheart. Very sorry to hear about your accident and I would like to say my 2 cats (Tux and the Fat Git) are sorry too. Unfortunately being cats, they couldn't care less about anything except where their next bowl of food is coming from. All they do is lie around the house to get us some (bless their hearts). I am thinking of you though and hoping you get well and that not only the people who saved you see this website, but also the *^~#@!% who hit you with their car in the first place. Don't read on if it will upset you, Frank, but my daughter's little black cat was killed on the road outside our house. I know she had no road sense and it was a mystery why she ever went out there in the first place, since we have miles of roadless fields behind the house, but I still think it was some fool driving too fast to stop in time. So I hope your picture makes a few people think and even slow down. Ever the optimist. Don't let the hi tech surveillance tactics put you off - make a break for freedom again soon! love Heather I will!
Hi frank, i hope you get better and are ok. Do you have many visitirs? I am watching you get better bye luv christine Hi Christine, yes I get lots of vistors, my site has had over 200,000 hists

Hi Frank - great to see you look so sleek and glossy, and I LOVE the Poodle Cut (so very retro Sixties), or is it in fact a Brazilian Wax? Do tell! I have two presents for you - see photo below. Sorry your Great Escape didn't work out - you tried tunnelling?
Love from Lucy It's a wax...ouch!
Hi Frank, The same thing happened to me. I was 2 years old at the time and trying to run across a road when a car hit me. Iwas confined to the cage for 6 weeks in my owners house (not so bad). I,m 10 years old now and unfortuneately the old back is starting to play up, I get a bit stiff after resting for a while and cant jump up on anything over 2 feet. Apart from that things are great. Hope you recover soon. Luv Holly Hunter Glasgow Thanks Holly, I've never been able to jump anything like 2 feet as 'm scared I'll hurt myself :-)
Hello Frank, So pleased your getting better you're a very brave cat an example to all of us felines love from Tabatha xxx
Hi Frank We're glad you're feeling better, I'm Mia (the grown up so I can write) and my friend is Nina (shes only 8 months old)she's a little terror in and out the cat flap playing with her toys pinching the dogs biscuits, wheras I am much more mature, I simply curl up and sleep all day, when my Dad gets home I'll ask him to e-mail you a photo of us, as I'm sure you will appreciate we are both very beautiful! Miaow Frank! Hope you're feeling better. You've been sleeping a lot today! You'll soon be chasing mice again. Lots of love, the Tyco girls. xx Hello Tyco girls, as you will find out my most important task of every day is to sleep, unless of course I'm trashing my room :-)
Salvador och Elsa önskar dig snabb bättring [Can someone please translate]
S and E wish you a speedy recovery :-) Thankyou S and E
Get well soon. I had a lucky escape a year ago. I got run over and the person who rescued me thought I was dead but her husband is a surgeon and he could tell I was alive. The funny thing is 30 years earlier he had operated on my mimmy and because of that she was able to walk again. love Hartley the cat. I thought you were a Hare! Is it time for a story ?
Translation of "Salvador och Elsa önskar dig snabb bättring": It's swedish and means "Salvador and Elsa wishes you a swift recovery". Foxx and Zorro send their love!//Caroline Brilliant, multi lingual cat lovers..
Frankie-Pie you look so cute
Curled up in your cat-fur suit

I'd love to pat your little head
And take you to my nice warm bed
But best you stay right where you are
Safe and warm (far from that car!)
So rest and dream, sleep and mend
Safe in sound in Olde England
XXXXXOOOOOXXXXXOOO from your American friends
Why thankyou nice Americans
Hiya Frank, it's Atticus again. Hope you're well, you look pretty sleepy. I can't show you my life on a website, so I thought I'd drop you a line to keep you posted on the Evil Cat Nextdoor situation. It's getting much worse. It came in during the night and savaged a loaf of bread on the kitchen worktop. Then, when I was snoozing upstairs, it helped itself to my favourite armchair, and didn't leave 'til my people came home. I was too scared to go outside yesterday. How can I be brave like you? On the bright side, my people's friend Kevin came over the other night. He doesn't like me, so I made him sneeze and his eyes went all puffy. It was great. x Be brave..I can lend you my pin and you could jab him! Well done for making Kevin sneeze!
Here's another picture of me to cheer you up even more!!! This is me in bed where I like to spend most of my time (apart from when I'm outside catching frogs which is my new hobby!).
I like the sound of your new hobby, does it help that your top is made from rubber and your bottom is made out of springs ?
Hey Frank. Nearly all of our school is watching you and there are over 1000 people in our school, they all say you are very cute. How does that make you feel? Fee x x x P.S. I had a TB injection today and my arm feels dead! I bet you've had lots of injections too. 1000 people, blimey...well 1000 people cannot be wrong :-) Yes I've had lots of injections, and stitches (which are purple) so you have my sympathy. Keep watching, I'll wake up later in the week
Dear Frank, A good radio station is Radio City (Liverpool). The frequency is 96.7. Get Well Soon, Alex (Age 11) and Melanie (Age 5) Thankyou Alex and Melanie, I shall try to find it on the internet (Liverpool os a long way from my house so I have to use the Internet to pick up stations
dear frank's carers, i am concerned as to frank's lack of movement today. in fact l think he has barely moved at all. Can you confirm whether there has been any movement today and also feeding times (as he will have to move then). many thanks Lucy. p.s. when does he get stroked and cuddled? Feeding times are approx 7:20am and 6:00pm. I have not been moving much today because I'm tried after a very busy weekend, what with escaping and trashing my cage (it's a rock star thing, although I think I've dashed my hopes of getting a TV in here). I get lots of attention in the evening as people have to work in the day, D works from home and gives me a stroke now and then.
Hi Frank, My fiancee, Mike, told me about you. I just wanted to send you a quick note from us in Texas to say get well soon! We're keeping track of your progress. Headbutts and purrs,
Alison, Mike, & our 3 fur kids (Moochy, Taffy, & Geoffy) Cor texas..I bet your cats are very big!
Hello Frank - Sorry you got hurt by one of those quick noisy things that humans use to get around - Why they can't just run everywhere I don't know! They should just get down on all fours and off instead of climbing into those big rattling tins and having to mess around switching this and that on and putting straps round their middles - must be very uncomfortable. I could be there and back while they're thinking about it and doing all that messing about! Trouble is so many humans are just plain lazy and then they wonder why they get fat! - They should run some of their fat off and then we poor cats could feel a lot safer when we have to cross the road. - Actually I use a litter tray (the hooded variety by the way) - so I don't cross the road anymore - but Teppy and Timtoes always go across the road to the next street 'to go' - very dangerous - Mum's always telling them to be careful - "Yey yey" they meow. Anyway, my name's Thomas and I'm helping Mum write this because I'm the eldest - I think I'm about eleven. We live with our Mum Patricia and Lucy and Beatie two very noisy Poms (who also wee on the floor if Mum isn't quick) We all get on very well together and we even love the dogs - well we all sleep together on Mum's bed anyway. She sometimes has to ask us if she can get into bed please! She always says please to us which is very nice - manners are so important Mum says! But then we cats are usually polite. Lucy and Beatie sometimes forget their Ps and Qs. They steal our food and they push us out of the way. Well I think that's enough of an introduction - if you like we can take it in turns to write to you - my paws are aching a bit now - Teppy says he will write to you if you want. Lucy says she would like to write to you too even though you're a cat. Oh and she says it's Beatie who usually wees on the floor not her - well not very often anyway. Carry on getting better.
Regards Thomas. Lillylee only came last December she was very little she had just hhad eight kittens - they found homes but she didn't so Mum asked us if she could come here and we all said 'Course she can Mum! What nice cats you are, please take it in turns to write I'd hate any of you to get RSI
Hey Frank, have you seen "Cats" at the theatre or on video, because I'm watching it now. Are any of your cat friends in it? Fee! xxx No I have not seen it, I have no famous friends but I'm sort of expecting Rolf Harris at any moment
Hi Frank. Just read the news for today, and it sounds as if you are well on the mend and wanting to get out of your cage. I am sure that you will be out as soon as the powers that be think you will come to no harm - but it a very healthy sign. Mimi and Huckleberry send greetings. It's not fair they've asked the dogs to make sure I don't get out..typical
Frank, The 6 weeks will fly by...then you can do all the 'naughty' things you will no doubt be dreaming of (buuurds!!!)...but just take care Sarnik Fly by...hoho
Frank, you look gorgeous snuggled up in your bed. Bobby brought a bird home today which makes a nice change from mice but it escaped and there are feathers all over the house. Ruby got in on the chase with him but Tiger just slept through it all, just like you. I won't tell you what happened to the bird in the end but Bobby shouldn't be hungry tonight. Sweet dreams. Caz xxxx I never catch birds, I'm just a lazy so and so, I start to chase them but give up after about 2 seconds and have a nap
Hello Frank! Lucy and Ethel here again from Chicago where the wind chill today is 25 degrees below zero. Can we come visit until Spring? You're lookin' better every day, buddy. xoxoxoxox 25 below, ouch, your paws will stick to the ground!
Hi Frank, Bazza a ginger tom here. Hope you are feeling much better now. Heard about you on Magic Radio here in Teesside and thought I would drop in and see how you are. Glad to see you are keeping up with traditions and sleeping a lot. I lost my companion cat a few months back so it's good to know that you are going to be okay. Well I feel like a nod off myself now so will close this and send you best wishes for your full recovery. Bazza Teeside, it's great round there (can I say Marrra?
Huerta kitty would like to wish Frank a speedy recovery. Huerta's older brother in Chicago had to wear a cast on his leg once, so she is especially sympathetic towards Frank. She thinks Frank is very handsome.... A cast eh...hmmm maybe I could have a pelvis cast :-)
Hi Frank! You are really getting perky, glad to see you are doing so well! It won't be long before you can wander about and CHOOSE your favorite spot to nap.
Love from Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) I'm looking forward to it!
Hi Frank, just wanted to say Get Well Soon!! We have all been logging on to see how you are getting on and you look much better already!! You certainly are a lucky boy having such caring owners to look after you. With lots of love Amanda, David and moggies Sam and Jake xxxx Thankyou
Greetings Frank! I thought I would just drop you a line (sorry - not the escape kind) to pass a few minutes for you. My name is Gamble, and I am a Hearing Dog for Deaf People. If you promise not to laugh, I will also confide that my mother was a Labrador and my father was a Chihuahua. Oh - alright then...laugh.....I have plenty to do here supervising my human, but wanted to pass on a message of feline support from myself and the ten cats - all of them are ex-rescue cats and share your feelings about confined spaces. Best wishes and get well soon, from Gamble, Martha, Sarah, Rupert, Thomas, Henry, Alice Pyewhackhet, Emily, Dorothy, Robert and Felix! You are a fine animal, if I was a dog I hope I'd have the brains to do your job

Bored students calling - we all feel very sorry for Frank at the moment. With regards radio stations to listen to, we all agree that he needs a bit of uplifting dance/house. Therefore he should tune in to Dave Pearce every mon-thurs from 6pm-8pm on radio 1 (97.0-99fm). And if that's not enough, every fri & sat from 6pm, for some banging tunes with Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Pete Tong et al. Get well soon xxx Students various - University of Plymouth Students eh...you make sure you have at least 20 drinks for me...I think the govenment should give you all big fat grant cheques every other week!
Hallo Frank, hope you doing better every minute goes by. I am sitting here and look at you. Your eys are so pretty when you look at the Camera and I feel like giving you a big hug. Can I have a picture of you with your signature? My Cats will send you some German Whiskas in return. Now take care and sleep so you get well soon. Love Irene from Germany Of course you can, we'll sort it out offline
The Lawrence feline family (one of whom is called Frankie) send you best wishes on a speedy recovery. Polly (the dog) probably knows how you feel. She broke her front leg in February 2001, my husband came home one evening to find her in the garden and did not realise at the time that her leg was broken but that there was a problem as usually she greets you at the front door. She was therefore taken to the vets immediately and we received the bad news she has sustained a complicated break just above what would be our wrist joint. Polly had to undergo substantial surgery and needed an outer fixature on her leg, She had to have completed rest therefore my husband had to carry her in an out of the garden and wait around whilst she did her 'business' much to her disgust. After four months (with four weekly visits to the vet for x-rays to check all was healing well) the contraption was removed and now you would never know she had been through such a traumatic experience - no limp at all. Chin up Frank I am sure you will feel fine soon and will be back to normal. Love from Sharon & Alex Lawrence Cor that Polly is a right trooper, it I had a hat I would take it off to her! Good dog
Hello Frank
I've been watching you on our computer - got a bit worried when you disappeared. I'm so sorry you got hurt. You look a bit sad. Does it still hurt a lot? I've just sneaked on to the keyboard while Mum's mopping up Beatie's wee - Thomas didn't really mention me - I'm Kizzie and I'm four and I'm white with some markings and I'm the cleanest puss in the world Mum says. I always use the litter tray and I can talk. I ask Mum for sweeties and every morning I have my face washed and my nose and ears cleaned when Mum gets out of the shower. Just an idea - If you're bored what about asking your Dad if you can watch T.V. We all love watching T.V. Lillylee says it's soothing. It sends all of us to sleep including Mum. We like animal pictures and things about birds. None of us likes cars. We think they should be banned and people should walk to work or they should just work in their own gardens - Timtoes caught a rat in ours last year. Must go now Mum's coming back - I'm not supposed to walk all over the keyboard. Take care Love from Kizzie Wizz one of Thomas's lot. I'm not allowed a telly incase I have a 'Rock Star' moment and chuck it out of the window!..

LOL...... !!!!!!! Good on you Frank.. xxxx
You don't like being locked in that cage......I bet you have had enough.....awwwwww....You do seem quiet today ......but perhaps because your owners got the better of you..
Spring is in the air......and you can hear the dawn chorus.....!!! Thomas does.... he unfortunately bought me home a robin......much to my disgust. So whilst your dreaming of what your missing, remember Spring is not too far away, and dream of lying in the sunshine and chasing the butterflys instead, a much better idea ~ Love from Katie, Mustard and Thomas the norty one. and their owner Maggie xxxxxxxxx A Robin? Bad puddy! We have two in our garden, they are my friends (what I'm saying here s that I'm too lazy to catch them!
hello frank hope your feeling better love rosiexxx I am thankyou rosie
Hi Frank and his human - I think I can help: Salvador och Elsa önskar dig snabb bättring means (in the same order...) Salvador and Elsa wish you quick recovery. So now you know. Next time you are asking for tuna you can say "Make it snabby". All the best, Robin I hope you are not the Robin that Thomas has just killed...Thomas should stick to Snabby :-)
Hi Frank As promised I have persuaded Dad to send the pictures of us, I'm sat in the sun near the wall and that daft kitten is pretending to be a bottle of coke in the cooler bag. Sleep well.

Dear Frank and family, Just read your latest e-mail. Glad to hear you are feeling your old ? self again. Kitty is still sleeping as last week. Good luck for the future. Dear Frank, heard all about you on Ram fm so thought I aught to take a look at you and see how you are. What's it like being so famous? My cat Spike sends his best and hopes that you will soon be up and about chasing birds, the feathered variety of course, and making the most of all this attention. We will look in on you again soon, so sleep tight and all the best. ta ta. Ah fame, easy come easy go, as for the birds they are a bit harder to catch when you are as lazy as I am.
