Messages to Frank - 2nd Mar
get well soon !
Now then Frank, We have just heard about your situation and would like to pass on our sympathies. As you know,us cats are a strong breed and it takes more than a bit of rubber to
keep a good cat down!(though sorry to say,not always) My cousin Billy was knocked down by a car outside our house and had to go to the man they call a VET.At first he was really
scared, but soon realised that he was there to help and let him do his job.He ended up losing 2 teeth, and his ear(they took his ear off his head, removed ear canal etc)then put it back!!!You
can't even tell!Anyway frank, mummy says its time for bed,so for now we will say goodbye, keep your paws crossed and your chin up,all our love:Billy,Kit,Cookie,Milo&Ruby Blimey you
mean we have a canal running through our heads!
Listen to RAM FM, they'v got a link to this page on their homepage. Rae recommended you!!! We are listening to them ton Tuesday as far as I can gather
Dear Frank Have you thought about writing a book about your experience - the accident and your fame since it has happened plus all the messages you have received? It could have
lots of pictures in it - of you and your fans ! It might enable your people to keep you in Whiskas for some years to come. Planning it might help keep your brain occupied whilst you
recover. Christine + felines - Frisby, Skippy and Thomas who all send their purrs to you. A book deal..now thats a thought....?
so sorry to hear about frank hope he will be on the mend soon back to chasing all those birds i have a moggy called misty who looks just like him All the best richard wyn andrew
chris & not forgetting misty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we love you frank from saffron walden essex D works near Saffron Walden, it;s nice round there
It would seem that you've now had another mention in the press Frank. Computing have this week awarded you the 'Virtual Champers Award'. Well done. And get well soon.
Would that get me virtually drunk ? Thanks
listen to terry and lorraine on q103 what a show I'd did last week, they were funny
Jacob, Annie & Gemma kitties, plus their two humans, wish you a speedy recovery, Frank. You are a very handsome lad! Why thank you (blush)
Hi Frank, Wishing you a speedy recovery, hope you're released from prison soon and beware of these car things all my love purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Winky Wooo Aberdeen
get better frank, i lost my coolest cat to the same situation. he was a great king. i'll tell my wife about you too. she's the real cat freak
I watched you sleep, Frank, the day after you started taking your pain medication -- I saw you curled up in a tight little healthy ball -- a significant improvement over your prior sleeping
position -- it's good to see how well your humans are taking care of you. Kathryn in Dallas, TX I'm glad you noticed
Hi Frank, Hope you are starting to feel better. I really do wish I could adopt you. I check in on you all through the day and I think you are one brave and adorable cat. Life has been
hard on you, but now you are surrounded by caring people who love you. I hope you will be adopted by someone who will make your life the way it should be. My 2 "girls" and I send
you our love from New York city. Try listening to CBS-FM 101.1 here in New York. It plays golden oldies from the 1950's, 60's and 70's.....I think you will find it soothing. Please keep us
updated on your progress. We love you, Frank! Thanks, it's nice to know all of these nice people are keeping an eye on me
HELOOOO Frank the cat, I am Mattie-no the puppy and I am soooo sorry you have to stay in a cage and got run over!!! It is very dangerous outside the house and the grass room
behind it and if you are really quiet birds come in the yard, but no matter how hard you bark stupid squirrels won't come down to get caught. I am soooooo sorry you are in a cage. When I
was little someone kept me and nasty-dog-not-my-brother tied in a yard cause he thought that was the way to do it, then someone else took us to a vet and we lived in a cage forever
almost three months then Marmar, Muffer-Mom and Nunkie Jack came and took me home to live with them and Ninja cat who is cool, so you see after awhile you get to come home again
and don't worry if you have a wonky leg, Ninja cat's back legs are wonky from when a car ran over him and he can do everything just fine, like pee and jump on the sofa and the chair and
pat me on the head. All he can't do is jump on the washer to the shelf where Marmar put his food so I can't reach, but she built these little stairs up to the shelf and put carpet on them
and they are only an inch wider than Ninja cat and I can't climb them. So you don't have to worry, your people will fix things for you and still give you all the gooder food and maybe get you
a puppy to protect you cause that's what Muffin-Mom said puppies are supposed to do for their cats and they are supposed to wash them too and I do and Ninja cat pats me on the head.
Mattie-no I think I might have a wonky leg, The fact that so many of you have wonky legs but have very happy lives gives me lots of hope
Hello Frank, just a quick note to check on your progress, keep up the good work and rest as much as possible. Love from your soulmate Ghia.

Hello Frank. Good to see you're on the mend. Our little mate "Flora" sends her best wishes & a friendly mee-ow or two. Just a thought..... This site is getting all these hits, & no doubt it's raising awareness for the plight of injured cats such as yourself. But I was wondering if there was any plans to use it as a fund raiser for worthy cat causes (PDSA, Cats Protection League, etc).
IAN Ian, we've been thinking about it, at the moment no one has asked us to help and time is a problem for us so we'd need some help
Godd morning! This is "Brighton Boy" and her human Beatrice. I see you are progressing well. My human suspects I have interfered with her PC. She has been moaning as your pictures from the 2 webcams don't download so well. Where is the option to reload for those connecting through a dial-up connection? I don't know what she is going on about, I did it perfectly fine this week while she was away. Hove is very sunny this morning and I am roaming the neighbourhood to gather a few more felines to rally around you. By the way, I forgot to mention to you, not only did I lose my tail but the VET found out that I was diabetic a year ago and I have only 2 teeth left!. I still don't want to eat the disgusting food they were trying to give me (diabetic cat food)!
Greetings from Brighton Boy and the Hove feline posse! I'm sorry about your teeth, I've got some I can lend you...Sorry about the modem link, I'll get the front page sorted in the next 10 mins so the link will be back and you can view me at a slower rate
Hi, Frank ! How are you feeling today ? No more escaping !!! Good Luck ! I'm feeling a bit sleepy after the excitement of 1 seconds freedom!
Hello Frank, Here's a photo of our little mate Flora. Get well soon. Cheers IAN & HEATHER

Lots of love from Caz Yes Dave Campbell has been with us since the start and was one of the first DJs to play anything for me, we'll be tuning in to him again next week. Are you in Carlisle? D used to live in Carlisle!
Get well soon Frank! My owner wathces your progress with her family and also sends best wishes. They give me yucky food that I have to take for the rest of my life because I have a bladder problem. Hi Frank, i'm Dennis from Brighton i'm 9 years old, & i just wanted to let you know i know how you feel (sort of) i have a skin allergy which at time can get so bad i lose all my fur on my head & i just like hiding in a corner away from everytime. i've only been with my current owers for 1 & half years , & because they did'nt know i have this allergy we all had to keep going to the vets & my owner Nicki used to get so worried about me! we now have this great vets in Hove, they have sorted out my allergy by putting me on special diety food which we can only get from the vets, it's hard for me when my owers are eating chicken or any meat infront of me because i have to just watch them! but i am so much happier now! i feel like a kitten again (i act like it anyway!) take care Frank, your be back to yourself in no time! Wotcher Den, glad to hear youare on the mend, when D&H lived in Hove Ben the dog broke his tooth, it ended out coming out of his muzzle and he was a very poorly dog (well he had very bad breath), the nice Vets in Hove sorted him out in a flash!

Hi Frank. This is Charlie,Spider and Tabs calling again. Glad to hear you made an escape bid - shows you must be feeling better - all the same take it easy and get really fit. Also escape bids always seem to make those humans very fraught - we hear them say things like " we are only doing our best for you" and "youve go to stay in there until youre better THEN you can come out. Sometimes one says to the other human "Youre the one who opened the door too wide!1! Anyway were keeping in touch several times a day - Pauline our carer/dinner lady says you are part of her life now. Luv from Charlie, Tabs and Spider. I did think about digging my way out next until the dog mentioned my room was on the first floor!
Special thanks for the lovely present (food and a catnip mouse) to Victoria and her mum from Waterbeach
Hey Frank Dude Sorry to see you caged man, what a bummer! I find hurling gets me out, Jack and Samson just sing if they're inside. 6 weeks will pass soon enough and you'll be able to roam - your people are top class Got to go, my human "mother" found this site but "father" sent this for us both serious cat people and easily controlled Good idea..
Hello Frank, Its me again,Ranger.Hope I'm not making a nuisance of myself writing to you again and again. Just to say I hope you are feeling better.God bless you. Ranger. St.Asaph N.Wales.I kept forgeting to tell you where I live. Don't stop writing Ranger, it's good to have lots of contact
Hi again sweetheart, I see your sitting up and you have your eyes wide open. What are you watching? We love you Frank! Get well, dearheart. Love, April, family, and Bikka the cat I'm watching when they come and go, if I can work out a pattern then I can plan my escape. All I need to do is make a false uniform, some ID and I'll be out.
Dear Frank, We read about your accident in the paper and it occurred to us that that we hadn't seen you for ages. We usually make a fuss of you on our way to school. We live at 34 Shelford Road. We hope you get better very soon. We are asking around all our friends to see if they know who might have helped you. Take care Luv Alix, Geroge, Max, Anthea, and Christof.
Thankyou, hopefully I'll be out and about soon and you'll be able to stroke me again, I'll have to come into your garden though as if I'm spotted at the front of the house I imagine there will be a bit of an uproar
Greetings your Frankness, Thought you'd like to know that I made it to the duvet with herself last night, and all was going fine until the Other Half arrived and dumped me back to the m.s. (mere sofa, you'll recall.) Don't know what she sees in him, I really dont. He even buys me really crap food from some weird supermarket, but of course, I just ignore it and herself usually finds me something more to my taste. Anyway, Frankie, something for you to mews on (I know I scare myself sometimes with my wit). The thing is - herself is thinking of installing nannynet as she's noticed that I'm getting pretty freaked out reading some of the grizly possibilities which could befall one (me). Gruesome as they are, the ones I understand are bad enough, but the ones that really do my head in are the cryptic ones referring to "missing bits". Now, Frankie mate, tho I may sound like a cool cat of the world, I am in fact a mere callow youthkit, and this expression does not fall into my realm of knowledge, vast tho it be. To add to my fears, every time herself reads about these mysterious missing bits, she looks at me, mumbling "that reminds me" and checks the penny jar in the kitchen. Frank, I appeal to you, is there anything I should know before she censors my viewing? (which will be pretty soon now that she's seen that Swedish message, she thinks they knew perfectly well it was rude and that you knew that they knew.)
I do truly wish you a good day
Korky Korky, don't worry I'm sure cathospital will be allowed after all I'm pretty harmless, and I never swear, as for missing bits well it would be unfair of me to tell you the PAIN thats involved so I wont :-)
hi frank, my cat tilly is very sad about what has happened to you, but she's pleased that you seem to be moving about OK now. we are watching your progress every day.
i request you have a listen to 2br (burnley & pendle), i think they have already played a request for you. carry on getting better, we'll keep watching your progress di, bruce & tilly
Hi Frank Sorry to hear about the accident. I tried something similar a while back and ended up with a titanium leg joint - it's fine now but I limp a bit when the weather is damp. I had to stay in my blob's bathroom for six weeks after my accident - and they didn't let me listen to the radio.
Hang in there buddy - the time for revenge will come! Rover ps I am a cat - the name is my blob's idea of a joke - call that a joke? A furball on the pillow is a joke! Titanium leg?? Bionic cat brilliant, all I get is a pin which looks like a nail and falls out and some purple stitches!
Dear Frank I am so pleased to see that you are up and about. I have to have medicine sometimes and I do not like, especially the worming tablets. I am glad the pain relief is working
this is the first time I've seen you properly and you are GORGEOUS . KEEP THE FAITH Well thankyo
Hallo Frank, wir wünschen Dir gute Besserung. Wir werden Deine Genesungsprozess mit Sicherheit weiter verfolgen. Die Kater Garfield und Chico und die Frauchen Ingrid und Renate
hi frank you seem much better today keep going, xxxxxxxxxxxx I will do, thanks
Dear Frank We wisch you the very best and that you son can at home . Sorry me englich is not the best but i hofe you understand me, your Puschelline I understand perfectly, thankyou
Dear Frank,
I hope that the people who were lucky enough to adopt you will now realize that it's part of their job to keep you safe from harm by having you stay inside. My people didn't always realize this. It took the death of one of my sisters(in the road) to make them realize that as the adults they have to do what's best for us. All the kitties here(and our people)were worried we wouldn't be happy, but we certainly are!! They put up special shelves covered with rug for us to climb on, hung bird feeders outside the windows for us to watch(the birds are safe now, too...from us!), gave us plenty of new toys and boxes to play with, and even built a screened-in area that's attached to a window in the house, so we can go out in the sunshine. It took some of us a few weeks to adjust, but now we all feel lucky to be loved so much by our people. Our people spent less on all these special things for us than one emergency trip to the veterinarian would cost if one of us got hurt. We didn't always pay attention to the traffic when we were out because there were so many interesting things to do. We sometimes ran in front of cars and got hurt. We put the people driving the cars in danger of being hurt, too. Also where we live there are some mean people who like to hurt kitties just for fun. There are big hawks, owls, coyotes, and dogs here that will kill kitties, too. Traps and poisons are put out for other creatures(that's not right either!), but many kitties get hurt by those, too. Now that we and our people understand all the bad things that can happen to us, we stay inside and are safe and happy. I hope your people have learned that you need their help to live a long, happy life. I know they must feel badly to have put you through so much unnecessary pain and suffering. We all hope you'll get better soon. With love, Frankie, Midnight, Cubby, Eunice, Murray, Weeta, Thing One, Thing Two, Miller and all the rest of the Mountain Kitties from Corinna, Maine. Thanks for your concern, the issue is that I'm used to going outside, and I don;t know my green cross code! It will be a constant worry for them that I'm going to jump out of a window (which is something I used to do when I was less pelvicly challenged, or nip out when the dogs were let out or something. I know they are still trying to figure out what to do and all options are being looked at.
Dear Frank, just checking in on you again..if you remember I am the sleek, tail-less one who has written previously (due to a similar accident!). Having been there and done that, I can tell you that if you use the blanket as camouflage it will confuse the quite dippy humans and you can make your escape last a little longer....another ploy is to make an absolutely awful mess in the litter tray - that destroys their spirit everytime! :) Take care, love, Quinn -x- Does the expression 'dirty protest' sound about right :-)
Hello again Frank, Just checking up on you againand making sure you got my other message. Yes We are in Carlisle but now listen to Dave at q103. and will listen to make sure DC plays you a nice cheer up song. Lots of kisses from Tiger Ruby Bobby and their mum xx Great, please say hello to Carlisle for D&H
Dear Frank, When my human told me what happened to you, I buried my head beneath my paws in horror. Then, I decided you needed a treat to help you get better. I couldn't find any nice frogs or birds today, so I caught you a nice freshly cooked sausage.... Only it was sooooooooo tasty, I couldn't help myself..... I wolfed it down before it could escape. Love from Clyde (aka Clydie Claws) from Swindon

I'm touched that you thought of me and only slightly annoyed that you ate the flippin thing!
Dear Little Frank I have heard about you hear in Colorado, USA. I hope you feel better soon and can get back to a regular cat life with your new loving family (maybe you should stay indoors when you are better!). I have 2 cats who have to stay indoors because of our predators here who like to eat little cats, like coyotes, mountain lions and great horned owls. My cat that I brought with me from the UK didn't know about them (nor did I) and so he was missing, (presumed eaten) since March 2000. I hope you get better soon, Frank! Nice website! Oh no that is terrible, poor little mite. I though the dogs were a pain, sounds like I've go it easy..
My name is Gracie Jean Marie, I'm a little gray cat, and my brother, Chester, a big tuxedo cat, send you lots of whiskery kisses. We live in a town near Boston, Massachusetts. We are so proud of your bravery and hope our kisses help you mend. Our mom says if there were more people in the world like your owners it would be a much better place. So save a whiskery kiss or two for them when you're feeling better because they, too, have been through a lot. XXXOOO GJM and Chet
Hello frank, my name is smarty. I heard about your plight and wanted to wish you a speedy get well. I have seen your picture and i think you are lovely! all my purrs, Smarty xxx Well Smarties have the answer...
It's all gone BLACK! Surely there's no eclipse in Cambridge?! No thats stupid people forgetting to put the light on
I can't see you, Frank. It's gone all dark and it's only 5.30pm. Has your bulb blown? Tell your human to do something about it sharpish. Your many fans are desolate at your non -appearance.xxx I'm really sorry ( and so are the idiot humans who were sitting by the fire watching telly)
frank i'm sorry to hear about your acciedent and hope you get well soon. Just think it's a hard life being a cat but it's a worse life being a human well frank just think of how your family is taking care of you and i'm glad they are as there are some nasty people out there that wouldn't have taken care of you and as for the person that picked u up from the road i think they should be glad for what they done as it was a very kind heart they had and as for the car driver well lets hope it hurts his feelings to know what he had done as he could of helped u well must go now mum says its dinner time take care frank and all the best for the future
Hallo Frank, Wir,Tick,Trick und Track senden Dir die besten Wünsche, alles gute und gute Besserung aus dem schönen Saarland. (Germany)
A friend told us about you're story. We were horrified when we read that the driver did not stop to help Frank. We hope that he/she has looked at this website and is feeling thoroughly ashamed and disgusted with themselves. We wish Frank a full and speedy recovery. Here is Sophie's special message to Frank: "Mieow, mieow mieow mieow. Mieow mieow, mieow mieow! Mieow mieow mieow, Mieow" Roughly translated, Sophie says,"Frank, I wish you all the best. I have your picture on my wall cos I think you're cute! Good luck and take care now, Sophie"
Meoww, row, mieeeoow back if you know what I mean :-)
Dear Frank, Further to my previous message - you didn't really expect me to wrap up the sausage and post it, now, did you? Apart from the fact that I'm not good at wrapping presents, the Post Office would not have been too pleased. I'm sure your human can cook you one just as nice, and twice as fresh as the one I was going to give you. Love Clyde M You are just teasing me now, you and yer fancy talk of sausages, you never intended to send it to me it was just a cruel trick....I'm very hurt now and going to bury myhead in my dinner
I first heard of Frank while ordering my cat food on the web site www.petplanet.co.uk. I am now hooked on watching him and his road to recovery!! I have told all my cat-loving friends too. Thankyou
Hi Frank After your escape bid have you decided to cover the cameras so no one will know where you are? I can only see blackness. Christine (F&S + T) Brilliant idea, I'll try it tomorrow...now where is my torch?
Hope you're feline better! We think you should check your web cams as we think you're really a poodle, still, nice hair cut! When you get out have a drink on us, but don't let this fame go to your head or you'll end up like this chap. Steve, Linda, Hwazen and Nowiee (the teenage cat), Hemel Hempstead Poodle ?? Why I oughta........
