Michael Carnwath is a qualified chartered accountant and was employed by KPMG from 1970 to 1983, latterly as a senior manager.
Since 1983 he has been a venture capital manager and then a stockbroker. He gained a broad financial knowledge of different operations, especially private companies and smaller listed UK companies.
Since 1994 he has been with Greig Middleton & Co and then Seymour Pierce Ltd principally creating new investment trusts and analysing existing ones.
He joined CCC in September 2003 to provide financial advice on fund raising and special situations.
